2 2/10 In order to meet te macining needs of difficult-to-cut materials suc as titanium, inconel and oter eat resistant alloys, TaeguTec is pleased to introduce te T-BURST ig pressure coolant tool for groove-turning and parting. In parting and grooving applications, te ability to supply ig pressure coolant generates good cip breaking, reduced cycle times and increased tool life on most materials. On tese difficult-to-cut materials, it is ard to ensure effective cip breaking specifically wit standard external coolant in low feed rate operations. Te T-BURST, by applying ig coolant pressure to te insert s cutting edge results in excellent cip breaking capability. Moreover, te ig pressure coolant eliminates built-up-edges and maximizes insert tool life. Te T-BURST ig pressure line is available in tree tool older types; TTER/L-TB, TTER/L-SH-TB olders and TQHR/L QUADRUSH tool olders. Square sank TTER/L-TB olders are available in bot 20 and 25 mm wile te inserts widt of cut ranges from mm. TTER/L-SH-TB olders come in 12 and 16 mm square sank size and feature side clamping design for fast and easy indexing on Swiss type tooling macines. Square sank QUADRUSH olders are available in 12, 16, 20 and 25 mm wile te inserts widt of cut ranges up to 5.2 mm. Te T-BURST tool olders apply troug coolant up to 340 bar and acieve improved tool life compared to normal coolant pressure external type tool olders. 4 T-BURST TTER/L-SH-TB February 2015 Wit te introduction of te innovative side clamping mecanism on te existing SH type olders combined wit ig-pressure coolant flow (maximum 340 bar) to te insert s cutting edge, insert mounting can now be done directly from te macine. No more older removal from te tooling post. Tis is especially convenient on Swiss type lates. 4/10 Tree coolant inlets strategically located along te tool older means adaptability to different macine types. Conventional TaeguTec new side clamping Te minimal space on Swiss type macines makes indexing an awkward task wit conventional screw clamping type olders. Wit TaeguTec s new side clamping design, trouble free insert indexing from eiter te left or rigt side of te older makes tooling down time no problem at all.

If te clamping screw is indexed on te left side, te pin plug is indexed on te rigt side to prevent cip entry.
