8 Installation Note: Important Your Fecon Mulcher is supplied with two bolts and nuts for securing the mulcher to your carrier. The nuts are welded to the inside of the mulcher mounting plate and can be accessed inside the removable motor covers. If your carrier does not have mounting holes that correspond to the holes in the mulcher mounting plate, it will be necessary to drill the carrier mount to match the mounting holes in the mulcher. If the holes in the mulcher mounting plate are not in a convenient location for match drilling the carrier mount, then it will be necessary to drill two new holes through both the mulcher mounting plate and the carrier mounting plate. 5/8 Lock Washer 5/8 SAE Washer 5/8-11 Grade 8 Hex Bolt If the mounting holes must be re-drilled in both the carrier mounting plate and the mulcher mounting plate then caution must be used to ensure the new hole locations will go through the internal supports, see illustration below. Two grade 8, 5/8-11 hex nuts will also need to be supplied to accommodate the new mounting holes. Internal Supports 6
