5 New Power Drive System Operatio The power drive uit is desiged to operate betwee two of Quixxsmart s roller chaels. The power slide belt is i cotact with the bottom of the product or package that is beig moved. The edges of the package/product ride o the opowered sectios of roller track. Guidace of the product package ca be achieved with the slide guide, part umber QSLG which is ot show i photo 1 for clarity reasos. Photo 6 shows the SLG istalled o a roller track. Applicatios This system ca be used for the hadlig of cotaiers, for the trasfer of fixtures i custom maufacturig, assembly cells or for pick cells where the power drive belt would be mouted to flow racks ad move cotaiers through order fulfillmet. Please call with your specific requiremets. Overview The power drive system cosists of a modular coveyor cotaied i a Quixxsmart Structures 35 x 40 mm alumium roller chael. Power is trasmitted by a circular.31 cross sectio reiforced urethae belt ridig i a semicircular groove o the circumferece of the ylo rollers of the power drive system. The rollers ride o polished stailess steel axles. This belt is idustry prove ad is field weldable ad is available i ad 100 foot legths. See photo 11. A roller track moutig bracket is required at each ed of each roller track to mout to your flow rack frame. O the backside of the rack, where your cotaiers are loaded, a ed flow moutig bracket P/N QF is utilized ad at the frot of the rack a flow stop moutig bracket P/N QS or a drop stop P/N QDS is required. The flow stop has a lip to prevet cotaiers from rollig off the rack. The flow (QF), the stop (QS) ad the drop stop (QDS) moutig brackets are egieered to slide o the roller track. The moutig bracket lips have embossed triagles desiged to mout sugly o the horizotal tube of the flow rack. There are two major variables whe selectig casters: stem mout or plate mout as show i the two drawigs. Stem type are the simplest to mout o your Quicksmart rack but are somewhat limited i their weight carryig capacity. Our 75 mm caster is rated for 68 kg per wheel.
