1 FRONT KIT: BRTJ97F ad BTTJ97F Jeep Wragler TJ/ LJ Bedrug/BedTred Iterior Istallatio Istructios Cogratulatios o choosig the fiest iterior floorig kit available for your Jeep. The Bedrug/Bedtred material is mold ad mildew resistat, easily cleaed with water & household cleaig chemicals ad extremely resistat to most chemicals. Kit Cotets: Driver side frot floor, passeger side frot floor, rear passeger floor, heat shield material, hook fasteers, ad istructio sheet. Tools eeded: Phillips screwdriver, utility kife, soap, water, ad rubbig alcohol. WARNING: The use of frot floor mats is ot recommeded with BedRug or BedTred floor kits. If floor mats are used, it is imperative to re-use the removable retetio hooks from the factory carpet, istalled to the maufacturers specificatios.do ot use floor mats or liers with BedTred Kits, do ot use floor mats or liers with BedRug Kits without retetio hooks.**please retai these istructios for future referece i your vehicles glove box** DON T REMOVE YOUR SEATS! Our kits ad your factory carpet are precut to make removig your seats uecessary. PREPARATION 1. Read all istructios before begiig istallatio. 2. Remove old Jeep floorig material (if equipped). 3. Wash ad dry the floor pa areas thoroughly. 4. Place the hook fasteers o each piece of loop sew o the back side of the BedRug. For BedTred istallatio, place the hook fasteers to the loop surface o the uderside of the BedTred. Use drawig o Page 4 for proper locatio. 5. Pre-istall provided heat shields o uderside of the two frot pieces i areas (see Page 4), usig the locator marks. (Fig. 1 & Fig. 2) Note: Passeger side heat shield is the larger of the two pieces. FIGURE 1: PASSENGERS SIDE IMPORTANT: Jeep floor should be at least 68 F (20 C) for maximum adhesio. Clea all areas with rubbig alcohol before applyig tape. Whe removig backig, do ot touch adhesive. 2 Istallig Frot Floor Pieces 6. Adjust the frot seats to the rear most positio to allow maximum clearace for istallatio. Place frot floor pieces ito place. (Fig. 5) Tuck uder cosole ad aroud seat brackets as show. (Fig. 6) (Tip: removig bolts from rear ad/or frot cup holders will allow cosole to lift up ad positio lier udereath easily Referece picture 9) 7. Oce properly aliged, pull back part to access the two pieces of hook fasteer (Fig. 7). Clea surface with alcohol the remove the film backig ad roll the part back ito place. Adjust the frot seats to the fully forward ad tilted up (passeger etry) positio. Loose the two screws located i the bottom of the cup holders o the rear of the cosole if equipped. 3 9. Tuck the part uder the cosole ad aroud the frot seat brackets as show. (Fig. 11 ad Fig.12) Figure 11: Figure 12: 10. Next lift the floor piece from the outside of the vehicle toward the ceter to access the hook fasteer. (Fig. 13) Clea surface with alcohol the remove the film backig from both pieces ad roll the floor back ito place. Firmly press the top surface to esure adhesive attachmet. 11. Now fit ad tuck part aroud seat brackets, roll bar, ad seat belt mouts. (Fig. 14) Repeat for opposite side of vehicle. 12. Retighte the two cosole screws located i the bottom of the cup holder. The egieered composite surface resists stais ad deterioratio from most acids, chemicals, gas ad oils, etc. Therefore, by followig the cleaig istructios below, your BedRug/BedTred will remai serviceable for as log as you ow your vehicle. Cleaig your BedRug is easy: 1. A vacuum, broom, brush or compressed air ca be used to remove dirt, grime, sad, mulch etc. Due to the fact that water will ot harm the product, pressure washig is also a effective way to clea a soiled BedRug/BedTred. 2. Although most acids will ot harm the BedRug/BedTred, bakig soda should be applied immediately to eutralize the acid to esure the safety of the pait o the vehicle. 3. To clea tougher jobs such as gasolie, oil, chemicals, acid spills or leaks from your BedRug/BedTred use deterget soap with degreaser ad water, the rise thoroughly. This deterget soap is used i most car wash locatios with pressure washig equipmet. The polypropylee closed-cell foam will ot absorb water ad the composite surface dries i miutes. If you have additioal questios, call BedRug Ic. customer service at LIMITED WARRANTY BedRug Ic. warrats BedRug ad BedTred products for Jeep vehicles for three years from the origial date of purchase. Warraty is limited to the origial purchaser ad is ot trasferable. Product is warrated to be free from defects i materials ad workmaship. The warraty is void if the product has bee damaged by accidet, ureasoable use, eglect, improper service/istallatio/removal, modificatios, acts of God, ormal wear ad tear, or other causes ot arisig out of defective materials or workmaship. Cosequetial ad icidetal damages are ot covered uder this warraty. Warraty does ot cover labor, the cost of shippig, or cost of returig the product for warraty service or ispectio.
