The #20 Madison roue was he firs o receive hese cars, nicknamed P cars for he Presidens onference ommiee. The ommiee, comprised of he heads of he various sree railways in Norh merica, developed a sandardized sae-of-he-ar sreecar design o provide a modern vehicle ha would appeal o he public and be economical o produce.
