Thery standards may be achieved utside the perfrmance f the learner s regular wrk; fr example, in a classrm r thrugh self-study f learning resurces. Practical standards build upn the thery and allw learners t gather naturally ccurring evidence f wrkplace perfrmance while they wrk. Typically, credit fr thery standards will be achieved thrugh learning spnsred by the Industry Training Authrity (ITA). The thery standards described in this dcument define the desired knwledge utcme fr learners t achieve. Industry wishes learners t have ptins fr achieving credit fr these thery standards, including using a variety f nn-traditinal learning methdlgies such as distance educatin and self-study.
