4 Preparatin fr Start Up Lcatin: Lcate n a flat, level, hard surface and clse t the prcess. Avid crrsive fumes, excessive misture, excessive dust, r high rm temperatures. Ensure there is prper clearances fr: Electrical enclsure access Maintenance access Prper air circulatin

5 Preparatin fr Start Up Install: Secure feet, r lck caster wheels. Chiller is anchred and supprted accrding t specificatins and lcal cdes. Chiller is fully plumbed int the prcess equipment. Field piping sized and installed accrding t specs.

7 Preparatin fr Start Up Preparatin: Perfrm cleaning/flushing f the piping system. Inspect all accessible wiring fr tightness and/r damage. Verify incming vltage matches the nameplate within ±10%. Check phase rtatin: Pump - Mmentarily press in ne cntactr cil and watch rtatin. N Pump Use a phase checking devise. Open all islatin valves s the prcess fluid is able t flw withut restrictin.

9 Start Up Steps Chiller Startup: Pwer Up - Turn the selectr switch t either ON r LOCAL. Inspect entire system fr fluid leaks and gd flw. Re-check system fluid level befre cntinuing. Apply heat lad. While the chiller is under a lad, recrd the fllwing: Vltages Pressures Temperatures Amps

11 Standard Maintenance Maintenance: Prper maintenance is the key t extending the life f yur chiller. Inspect and clean cndenser: Remve buildup f dirt, il, and ther debris Inspect cndenser fins use cmpressed air >30PSI in ppsite directin f air flw Clean air filters, blw and/r wash ut. Check water quality/glycl mixture. Inspect fluid filters/strainers. Inspect fluid system fr: Fluid leaks Lse pipe fittings r hses Plumbing parts fr wearing, cracking, r chafing

NOTE: All pump seals are designed t have sme leakage t prmte lng seal life. A small amunt f leakage is cnsidered nrmal. With water r water/glycl mst f the leaking fluid evaprates befre ever dripping belw the pump. Glycl staining r a drp r tw belw the pump is cnsidered nrmal. With il, expect sme evidence f il - il cannt evaprate.

16 Tips What yu need t knw abut using/replacing: DI Water All applicatins belw 5 us (Micr Siemens) require high purity plumbing. Oil and Water Sluble Keep free f debris and filtered t at least 50 micrns. City and Well Water Check the system mnthly, buildup f sediments and leaching f metals can build up in the system and lwer cling capacity as well as eat thrugh seals. Distilled water is recmmended wherever pssible.
