Amp circuit breaker r time delay fuse. The HB RGB LED Light Bar is a CLASS 2, 12 VDC r 24VDC as indicated, lw vltage luminary and must be used with an apprpriate pwer supply driver unit. Failure t cnnect this lighting system crrectly will vilate all warranty claims. Wiring must be 2 wires with grund and rated fr 75 C (176 F). NOTE: Cnsult lcal building cdes and guidelines n selecting wires. Wires must be UL Listed. Grunding Instructins-Cable Direct This lighting system must be cnnected t a grunded metal, permanent wiring system, r an equipment grunding cnductr must be run with the circuit cnductrs and be cnnected t the equipment grunding terminal. 5 HB RGB INSTALLATION Flat Bracket Adjustable Bracket Munting Light Fixture with Munting Clips Munting clips, whether flat r rtating adjustable type, must be munted t a flat surface using apprpriate screws r ther fasteners. See the munting clip diagrams Lck ut and tag ut the circuit breaker fr the lighting circuit f the area where the LED light fixtures are being installed. Turn the light switch t ff t ensure n pwer is active. Remve any hazards in rder t access the electrical raceway r necessary space. Use a Vltmeter and check that there is n vltage. Remve any existing fixtures, wiring harnesses, etc. Remve any Ballast r ther pwer supplies frm the electrical raceway r necessary space. 6 Ntes Applicable Unless Otherwise Specified BEFORE YOU BEGIN Read these instructins cmpletely and carefully. If yu have any questins, cntact the manufacturer. B. Befre servicing r cleaning unit, switch pwer ff at the service panel and fllw apprpriate lck ut/tag ut safety prcedures. HB RGB INSTALLATION Cnnect LED Pwer Supply Munt the LED pwer supply in the electrical raceway r as near as pssible; r where the previus flurescent ballast was lcated. Pwer supply has 120V 50/60HZ input (primary) and 12V DC r 24V DC utput (secndary). Using the apprpriate wiring diagram cnnect the riginal lad and neutral wires t the LED pwer supply input wires (black and white wire) using apprved cnnectin methd. As indicated, Munt ne (1) DMX r ther interface cntrller mdule per ne (1) pwer supply in clse prximity t the LED Pwer Supply. Prir t installing LED Luminary, please check vltage frm the Pwer Supply t ensure prper vltage. Install LED Luminary int the munting clips and tighten the small screws t hld the luminary in place. Fasten each luminary t the munting clip. If using rtating adjustable clip, adjust the luminary as need and tighten the large screws n either side f the clip. Cnnect the LED Luminary male utput cnnectr t the female cnnectr first cable ging t the cntrller. Cnnect the wires frm the the cntrller, t the wires that are cming ut f the 24V DC (secndary) utput f the pwer supply, using apprved cnnectrs fr the applicatin. Cnnect the DMX wires t the keypad cntrller & cnnect the apprpriate pwer supply t the keypad as necessary fllwing the keypad instructins. 7 CAUTION The LED POWER HB RGB BAR LED luminary MUST be installed with the LED POWER SUPPLY specified r apprved by LED Pwer, Inc. fr this luminary. NOTE: LED Pwer, Inc. LED light fixtures are plarity sensi-ve. If the fixtures d nt light up, the wires may need t be reversed. Keypad Cntrller * (Any Generic Type) Cnnect LED Pwer Supply Additinal cnductrs may be needed t cnnect the pwer supply t the existing wiring in the raceway r ther sectin. Use cnductrs f prper size and rating as per lcal and natinal cdes. The LED pwer supply enclsure case includes a terminal fr grunding the incming 120V 50/60HZ grund wire. Attach LED pwer supply t a grund pint in the case either directly with a screw, r by using a green wire t attach t a remte grund pint. When using the DCI cntrl mdule, cnnect remaining wires by fllwing the wiring diagram prvided in rder t cnnect the LED Luminary t the DCI cntrl mdule Cnnect the DCI dimming cntrl mdule t the LED pwer supply by fllwing the wiring diagram prvided. Multiple DCI units can be cnnected t a single keypad cntrller. Cntact LED Pwer fr ther keypad cntrller ptins. Duble check yur wiring methds and vltage with a meter at the end f each run t be sure that all wires are prperly cnnected with suitable cnnectrs and that there is n vltage drp. Remve the lck ut tag frm the circuit breaker fr the lighting circuit and turn the breakers back n Turn the lights back n t the case and inspect all lights t ensure that they are functining prperly.
