1 Wayne Cunty Cmmunity Cllege District AUT 200 Engine Perfrmance III CREDIT HOURS: 3.00 CONTACT HOURS: COURSE DESCRIPTION: This intermediate curse is designed t help the student diagnse and repair the cmplex engine and cmputer cntrl systems n the mdern autmbile. Basic diagnstic prcedures will be used t trublesht and diagnse the engines electrical, ignitin, fuel and emissins systems. Other areas such as ASE certificatin techniques will als be utilized in this curse. PREREQUISITES: AUT 114, AUT 115, AUT 116, AUT 117, AUT 118, AUT 119 EXPECTED COMPETENCIES: Upn cmpletin f this curse, the student will be familiar with: Industry Infrmatin Identify varius career types in the autmtive field Identify the eight Autmtive Service Excellence (ASE) service areas fr technicians and the cmpnents included in each.
