6 Equipment Rin sensor uses infrred light to mesure the mount of rin. When the wipers re in the intermittent mode, the rin sensor utomticlly djusts the windshield wiping intervl s needed. Automtic hedlight control (not shown), included with rin sensor, ctivtes hedlights by mens of sensor tht responds to drkness. High-bem hedlights illuminte the rod hed nd to the side with brillint clrity. Adptive Brke Lights increse the 3 Series Coupe s visibility by signling the intensity of brking ction. The close shift pttern of the six-speed mnul trnsmission, stndrd in the 330Ci, delivers precise, thletic feel for more dynmic driving experience. (330Ci only) Five-speed STEPTRONIC utomtic trnsmission provides choice of three modes: Drive, which incorportes BMW s Adptive Trnsmission Control; Sport utomtic, for more dynmic shift pttern; nd STEPTRONIC utomtic, for the hnds-on control of mnul without using clutch (optionl).
