4 IMPORTANT NOTES INTRODUCTION ELECTRICAL SAFETY KEY PARTS AND COMPONENTS If LCDI Crd/Plug is required, need t make sure the right size f LCDI is selected. Extra Electrical Safety: LCDI Crd/Plug (Optinal Part) Test and Reset Buttns are made fr each LCDI. If pressing the Test Buttn, the circuit will trip; t resume the circuit, press Reset Buttn. It is recmmended t check the tw buttns peridically t make sure they wrk prperly. If anything wrng is fund at the LCDI, it shall be replaced withut any delay. 5 INSTALLATION GENERAL INFORMATION INSTALLATION POSITIONING THE AIR UNIT DRILLING THE WALL T maintain the best perfrmance frm yur unit, prevent breakdwns r hazards, yu must psitin it the unit crrectly. Fllw the guidelines and instructin belw in full, as failure t d s culd cause ptential installatin prblems. Please nte: If yu are drilling the hle abve grund flr level, Ensure that an area has been secured and while the hles are drilled the utside area is supervised, until drilling has been cmpleted. * The air cnditiner must be installed where 6.6 feet clearance at bth indr and utdr disclse air sides. * The wall n which the unit is installed must be sturdy enugh t withstand the weight f the unit. After determining the best place fr installatin as described abve, check t ensure that the wall can be drilled in the chsen area withut interfering with ther structures r installatins (beams, piers, pipes, wires, etc.). S ensure that there are n bstacles n the utside f the wall, which may bstruct air circulatin thrugh the drilled hles, fr example: plants and their leaves, slats r panelling, drain pipes, verflws and gratings, etc.). Any bstructin culd interfere with the perfrmance f the unit. PAPER TEMPLATE Attach the template t the wall fllwing guidelines belw. D nt drill any hles until yu are cmpletely cnfident that there are n bstacles in the area yu wish t drill and there are n bstructins, which culd be hidden by the cnstructin f the wall, fr example: Electrical wiring water & gas pipes r supprting lintels r beams. Ensure that a spirit level is used, as the air cnditiner must be level. Fllw the installatin instructins in full. Indr 6.6 Ft. Outdr 6.6 Ft. INTAKE AND HOLES DISCHARGE AIR This peratin shuld be carried ut using the prper tls(diamnd tip r cre brers drills with high twisting trque and adjustable rtatin Fasten the template t the wall taking care t check the distance Frm the flr and r ceiling and keep it hrizntal by using a level. Use a pilt drill t mark the centre f each cre hle t be drilled. Use a cre bring head having a diameter f 6" t drill the tw hles fr intake and discharge air. It is recmmended that the hles must have a slightly dwnward inclinatin f 3-5 degrees t prevent any back flw f water frm rain r the exterir wall. DRAINAGE HOLE The unit generates cndensate that has t be extracted t enable the unit t perate crrectly. It is necessary t drill a 2" hle in diameter in the psitin shwn in the paper template. It is fr the drain line t g shipwright and have a minimum dwnward inclinatin f at least 3 thrughut its length. FASTENING THE BRACKET Drill the hles fr anchring the fastening bracket t the wall studs using preferably the 6 hles shwed in black n the paper template. If the wall is nt sturdy enugh it is advisable t use extra anchr blts using the hles shwed in grey n the paper template. The anchr blts prvided require a 1/3" hles; the wall shuld be inspected t determine if prvided blts are useful r if it is necessary t use a different anchrage. The manufacturer is nt liable in case f underestimatin f the structural cnsistency f the anchrage made at the time f installatin. HOT AIR DISCHARGE HOLE wall studs P7 OF 16 P8 OF 16

6 INSTALLATION INSTALLATION INSTALLATION OF AIR DUCT After drilling the hles, the plastic DUCT supplied with the need t be. The pipe with a diameter f 6 5/16 inch (fresh air intake) has t be fitted in the right hle. The length f the pipes shuld be same the depth f the wall plus 3/8 inch. Use a nrmal hacksaw t cut the supplied pipes t the crrect length. Remember that the cut must have the same inclinatin f the hles (minimum 3 degrees). Please centre the pipes int the hles in the wall and insulate and seal their perimeters t prevent air and humidity infiltratin using plyurethane fam and using plaster as finishing n the inside wall. FITTING THE ON BRACKET Lift the unit up by hlding the tw sides at sat the bttm and nt the frnt panel. The tube diameter is nearly the same as that carried ut using the 6 3/8 inch nminal diameter cre drill therefre yu may need t slightly frce the intrductin f the pipe using, in difficult cases, a nrmal rubber hammer and a small piece f timber t gently tap the tube int the hle. Please use the same instructins t fit the left hand tube (ht air discharge pipe) using the supplied pipe with a diameter f 5 7/8 inch. The tube diameter is slightly smaller than that carried ut using the 6 3/8 inch nminal diameter cre drill. FITTING THE GRILLES Familiate yurself with the fitting f the t the tube, Befre installatin, inset the crds thrugh the center f the grating. One fits n the utside f the duct and the ther fits inside. The air intake is the smaller hle and the therefre fits n the utside f the airintake tube. Insert the supplied crd int the hle. Fld the uter in half grasping the crd with yur ther hand. Insert yur aim inside the pipe with the and push all the way t the utside. Let the grille unfld and pull the crd twards (inside). Tilt the unit slightly twards yu t facilitate the peratin f fastening it nt the bracket. The unit is prvided with an insulated drainage pipe (18" lng), t fit n the pipe that prtrudes frm the lwer rear side f the unit, insert the drainage hle. The unit and then in t can nw be pushed firmly against the wall. Carefully inspect the installatin t ensure that the insulating back panel fits firmly against the wall and there are n fissures at the back f the air cnditiner. One grille fits n the utside f the duct and ther fits inside. DRAINAGE LINE With a little patience and manipulatin the tw ne will fit the end f tubes. Gasping the crd, insert yur fingers between the fins and pull the twards yu until it is prperly psitined in the pipe, keeping the fins in a vertical psitin. S that rain r cndensate can drip dwn easing. Tighten the crd and fasten it t the dent n the internal flanges. If the external is accessible t prevent its remval, it is recmmended t fasten it t the wall with wall plugs and screws with a diameter f 0.24 in. T cmplete the drainage line fit the drainage pipe n the drainage hle and push firmly int place (A). A further extensin pipe (B) with an internal diameter f 5/8" can be added if necessary. If the line drains int a vessel(tank r ther recipient), this unit shuld nt be sealed and the drainpipe shuld nt remain immersed in the water. Install the extensin drain pipe as required. The drain shuld flw in a dwnwards directin, as this is a gravity flw (C). A C B P9 OF 16 P10 OF 16

T change the fan speed, press the 'Fan' buttn (13) ne a time, until the desired functin is reached. Aut HIGH MEDIUM LOW The directin f the airflw can be adjusted using the 'Swing' buttn. The timer can be set/cancelled by pressing the 'Timer' buttn (5). The sleep mde can be set/cancelled by pressing the 'Sleep' buttn (14). The current time can be set using the 'Hur' (6) and 'Min' (16) buttns. The unit can be switched n r ff by using the 'On/Off' buttn (8). 8 OPERATION OPERATION PANEL-SOFT TOUCH CONTROL USING THE CONTROLS SLEEP FUNCTION The unit is als equipped with a Sleep functin. This enables the unit t switch ff after 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 r 10 hurs Press the 'Sleep' buttn s the mn lg is displayed n the remte cntrl Press the 'Up' arrw t set the required time Pressing the 'Sleep' buttn again will cancel the functin Temperature decrease Temperature increase The required rm temperature is adjusted using the 'Up' and 'Dwn' arrws Please Nte When the Required Temperature is less than 18 C r greater than 30 C, 'CONT' will be displayed n the remte cntrl and the unit will perate cntinuusly. Pwer buttn The unit can be switched n r ff by using the 'On/Off' buttn. Fan Speed T change the fan speed, press the 'Fan' buttn repeatedly, until the desired functin is reached. Aut HIGH MEDIUM LOW Mde(functin) buttn T change the functin, press the 'Mde' buttn repeatedly, until the desired functin is reached. Aut Cl Heat De-humidify USING THE CONTROLS SETTING THE CLOCK The clck is set n the remte cntrl by pressing the 'Hur' and 'Min' buttns until the desired time is reached. SETTING THE AIRFLOW DIRECTION (SWING) The luvers n certain units can scillate in three ways; Standard, Swing, Fixed. These can be selected by pressing the 'Swing' buttn. 1.Standard The luvers will mve up and then in a range f 125 and then stay pen fr 1 minute befre repeating the prcess. 2.Swing The luvers will cntinuusly mve up and dwn. 3.Fixed The luvers remain fixed in the directin set SETTING THE VERTICAL AIRFLOW DIRECTION The vertical luvers can be adjusted manually t the desired psitin Never mve the hrizntal luvers manually. During cling/de-humidifying functins, the hrizntal luvers shuld nt face dwnwards fr a lng time, nr shuld the vertical luvers be fully turned t the right/left. NOTE: The digital display shws the set temperature in degree Fahrenheit r the selected TIMER delay in hur. LED indicatr lights in different clurs t shw the different functin as fllw: RED LED pwer supply is cnnected; GREEN LED cmpressr is n; YELLOW LED timer is n; BLUE LED sleep mde is n. Technical specificatin see the rating plate r briefs belw. FILTER GRATING TIMER FUNCTION Nte - In rder fr the timer t wrk, the clck must first be set n the remte cntrl. The timer can be set fr 1~24hrs. Press the 'Timer' buttn s 'HOUR' is displayed. Press the 'Hur'/'Min' buttns until the desired time is displayed n the remte cntrl befre the unit switches n. The unit will autmatically check the temperature 1 hur befre running time and chse the apprpriate Cl/Heat functin. Pressing the 'Timer' buttn again will cancel the timer functin.
