PT (Teflon) encapsulated packing provides dependable stem and body sealing. 3 Valve Options xtreme Temperatures Standard utoclave valves with Teflon packing may be operated from 0 (-17.8 ) to 450 (232 ). High temperature packing and/or extended stuffing box are available for service from -423 (-252 ) to 1200 (649 ) by adding the following suffixes to catalog order number. T standard valve with Teflon glass packing to 600 (316 ). Y standard valve with graphite braided yarn packing to 800 (427 ). Note: 3/4 rated 8000 psi (552 bar) and 1 rated 6000 psi (412 bar) maximum with graphite yarn packing. HT extended stuffing box valve with graphite braided yarn packing to 1200 (649 ). standard valve with cryogenic trim materials and Teflon packing to -100 (-73 ). LT extended stuffing box valve with Teflon packing and cryogenic trim materials to -423 (-252 ). This packing will affect the pressure rating. Refer to Technical Information section. Repair Kits: Valve aintenance add R to the front of valve catalog number for proper repair kit. (xample: R20S4071) Valve odies: Valve bodies are available. Order using the eight (8) digit part number found on the valve drawing or contact your Sales Representative for information. onsult your utoclave representative for pricing on repair kits and valve bodies. Note: aution should be exercised in proper selection of medium pressure tubing based on actual operating conditions.
