Rising stem/barstock body design. etal-to-metal seating achieves bubble-tight shut-off, longer stem/seat life in abrasive flow, greater durability for repeated on/off cycles and excellent corrosion resistance. or dependable stem and body sealing 30S, 43S and 30V valves are furnished with PT encapsulated packing; the 40V and 60V valves feature nylon/leather packing below threads. sleeve and packing gland materials have been selected to achieve extended thread cycle life and reduced handle torque. hoice of Vee or Regulating stem tips. Series 00V: Pressures to 00,000 psi (6895 bar) features: old-worked type 36 or 5-5PH stainless steel body with aluminum bronze packing gland and non-rotating stem. Nylon and leather packing below stem threads. Series 50V: Pressures to 50,000 psi (0342 bar) features: ylindrical body of high strength 5-5PH stainless steel with stainless steel packing gland. Tool steel nonrotating stem with replaceable seat of nickel maraging steel. must be actuated with torque wrench (refer to Tools, Installation, Operation and aintenance section). Wedge-type PT and leather packing below stem threads with beryllium-copper utoclave nti-xtrusion ack up Rings.
