Their clean appearance makes them ideal for sign - writing. They are not only lightweight but also very stable. Needless to say, the flush rear doors can also be combined with TITGEMEYER body kits. GETO Megaport II flush rear doors are suitable for curtainsider kits, box body kits and any other bodywork with a rear portal frame. GETO Megaport II flush rear doors are available in the following designs: 2-leaf, 1 lock per leaf, 3 or hinges 2-leaf, 2 locks per leaf, 3, or 5 hinges -leaf, 1 lock per leaf, 3, or 5 hinges With offset locks 2-leaf, 2 locks per leaf, 3, or 5 hinges The quality of materials used to produce GETO Megaport II flush rear doors is outstandingly high, with engineering features to match: Every version is customs-approved Door frames made of high-strength aluminium profiles Filler panels made of 25 mm thick sandwich panels with a foam core; galvanised steel skin on the inside, primed coating on the outside Concealed, continuous EPDM rubber tubing seals with moulded corners The lock is located below the door leafs. Hinges fitted in the direction of travel. A spring mechanism is incorporated into the upper and lower double pivoting hinge. 4 Assured operation Hinge Hinge versions Each hinge is recessed into the hinge profile and moves inside wear-resistant, reinforced bushes made of special synthetic material. The bushing collar forms a low friction interface between the rotating hinge elements. The plastic bushings have the same special features. Located in the second hinge pivot, these accommodate the hinge bolt which, in turn, is located in the gudgeons. Hinges in need of repair can be replaced individually. The hinge on the extended version creates a wider gap between the rear frame post and the door leaf when the doors are open. 5 Hinge bracket versions Two different hinge brackets are available for installing the door. The standard option used is the rivet-on version, which can also be welded on. When installing on a GETO Van, only the weld-on option is available! Welding version for GETO Van Rivet version (also weldable) Rivet: M-lock ø 6. Part No Can also be affixed using e.g. a fillister head screw (ISO 730 M 6) with a low head GETO Megaport II flush rear doors are leak-tight Resting all the way around the rear frame is an interior sealing frame To accomplish this, a modified EPDM material has been chosen which has proven its worth over the years. The left-hand door leaf is fitted with an additional interior overlap seal. TIR profile affixed to the right-hand door leaf For best sealing results, the upper and lower horizontal seals overlap the frame by at least 20mm and the rear frame posts should be at least 30 mm wide. If the height of the members dictates that a little more is possible at the top and bottom, this can only be of benefit. All seals are black. The seals are joined together by moulded corners to ensure full leak-tightness. 6 TIR profile The right-hand door leaf includes a TIR profile as standard. This provides a smooth exterior surface which is ideal for signwriting. It also prevents the left-hand leaf from being opened when the right-hand leaf is closed. A further 55 mm (Fig. 6/2) is required to fit the top door gear keepers. Rear bottom member: To ensure full leak-tightness, the seal must overlap the member by at least 20 mm. A further 5 mm (Fig. 6/3) is required to fit the bottom door gear keepers.
