7 smartfe Short Description Couping Instaation For a detaied instaation description, pease see the Instaation and Operationa Instructions corresponding to the respective product B.9.8.GB. Important Instaation Guideines Wash off the conserving ayer in the bores with paraffin, white spirit, ceaner sovent or simiar. The bores and the shafts must be grease and oifree. The permitted shaft misaignment must not be eceeded. Avoid damage to the stee beows (1) before and during instaation. The camping ring (2) with the hoding spring (3) must be engaged in the reducing bushing (5) or reducing bushing with tapered bore (6). If a reducing bushing is dismanted or reinstaed more than 5 times, the snap ring groove may deform, making it unpermitted for use. In order to transfer the defined torques in Tabe 1 (page 5) correcty, the sots in the stee beows (1), camping ring (2) and reducing bushing (5) must be aigned (see Fig. 5). Couping Instaation Type (Fig. 1, page 4) and Type (Fig. 3, page 4) see aso Fig. 6 and Fig Pease ensure that the couping can be easiy pushed onto both shafts. 2. Push the entire couping over the whoe ength of the reducing bushing (5) onto a shaft. 3. Make sure that the stee beows (1) is pushed between the camping ring (2) and the reducing bushing (5) up to its imit, and that the sots in the stee beows, camping ring (2) and reducing bushing (5) are aigned (see Fig. 5). 4. Tighten the cap screw (4). The screw tightening torques (see Technica Data) must be observed. 5. Push the second shaft over the entire ength of the reducing bushing (5) into the couping. 6. Make sure that the stee beows (1) is pushed between the camping ring (2) and the reducing bushing (5) up to its imit, and that the sots in the stee beows (1), camping ring (2) and reducing bushing (5) are aigned (see Fig. 5). 7. Tighten the cap screw (4). The screw tightening torques (see Technica Data, page 4) must be observed. The sots in the stee beows (1), camping ring (2) and reducing bushing (5) must be aigned. On the reducing bushing with 4 sots, one of the 4 sots must aign with the sots in the camping ring (2) and stee beows (1). If necessary, insert the key into the conica shaft. 3. Push the reducing bushing with tapered bore (6) onto the conica shaft. 4. Secure the hub a using a nut or a screw with press cover. 5. Push the rest of the couping with the open stee beows side up to its imit between the camping ring (2) and reducing bushing with tapered bore (6). 6. Tighten the cap screw (4). The screw tightening torque (see Technica Data, page 4) must be observed. 7. Push the second shaft over the entire ength of the reducing bushing (5) into the couping. 8. Make sure that the stee beows (1) is pushed between the camping ring (2) and the reducing bushing (5) up to its imit, and that the sots in the stee beows (1), camping ring (2) and reducing bushing (5) are aigned. (see Fig. 5). 9. Tighten the cap screws (4). The screw tightening torques (see Technica Data, page 4) must be observed.
