1 Bradentn Mtrsprts Park - Class Rules X275 FORMAT: This is a 1/8 mile heads-up class run n a.400 pr tree with a pr ladder. X275 is a qualified quick 8 field. Curtesy staging and autstart is in effect. There will als be anther class called The Shtut fr qualifiers #9-16, and it will be run n a pr ladder. This allws nn-qualifiers t cmpete fr additinal pints and a place t race. (At larger events 2 16 r 3 8 r 3-16 car fields r allrun frmat may be used) THIS IS A SINGLE POWER ADDER CLASS ONLY! BALLAST: Any material used fr the purpse f adding t a car's ttal weight must be permanently attached t the car's structure and must nt extend in frnt f r behind the rear f the car's bdy. N liquid r lse ballast permitted (i.e., water, sandbags, rck, sht bags, metal weights, etc.)remvable weight must be securely munted t the frame r frame structure by a minimum f tw 1/2 inch diameter steel blts per 100 punds, r ne 3/8 steel blt per 5 punds; all ther weight bars, pucks etc. Must use a minimum 2-1/2 inch diameter SAE grade 8 blts fr attachment per 100 punds. Maximum ballast may nt exceed 550lbs. BODY: The car must retain its riginal appearance, prfiles, and dimensins. Factry rf and quarter panels must be used. Aftermarket fiberglass and/r carbn fiber replacement panels are limited t hd, frnt fenders, drs, deck-lids, and bumpers nly. All frnt ends must be f factry dimensins and cannt be lengthened and must meet all NHRA/IHRA height. (See grund clearance nte belw). Any beam tripping devices frward f the bumper are prhibited. (Track tech fficial will have final say) Aftermarket wings and spilers are permitted. Cmplete stck appearing frnt and rear bumpers are required. A hd must be used: scp r hd must cver the entire inductin system. Frward facing hd scps/ turb r supercharger inlets are permitted. GROUND CLEARANCE: Minimum 3 inches frm frnt f car t 12 inches behind centerline f frnt axle, 2 inches fr remainder f car, except il pan, il retentin device, and headers. INTERIOR: Factry appearing dashbard, dr panels, and driver seat is required. Full Carpet is required n flrbards including transmissin tunnel. Factry flr pan n driver and passenger side required frm firewall t rear f dr jamb. Transmissin tunnel maybe remvable and must be metal. Bare inside frame f car cannt be expsed. Aftermarket steering clumn is permitted. WINDSHIELD/WINDOWS: OEM glass r Lexan windws are permitted. CHASSIS: Cmplete stck chassis and frame rails must be retained frm mtr plate/shck twer t behind the rear wheel pening. Backhalved cars are nt permitted. Frnt cre supprt may be mdified r remved. Aftermarket blt-n replacement frnt K- members/sub frames are allwed (if frnt shcks blt t K-member then they must be in factry lcatin). Shck twer can be ntched r trimmed but must be in factry lcatin, verifiable by the factry sheet metal being retained between frame rail and tp f twer. Mini tubs are allwed. Rear frame rails may be ntched fr clearance and must be in the factry lcatin. Factry wheelbase must be maintained. (+ r 1 inch) ENGINE: Maximum displacement fr all engines is 588ci. Small blcks are allwed any deck height but must retain stck bre spacing. Big blck allwed the fllwing deck heights but must retain stck bre spacing. GM Big Blcks are limited t a 10.2 deck height. 2 TURBOCHARGERS: Single turbcharger limited t 88 mm maximum. (Garrett GTX55-88, Exile ETR-88, r = Frced Inductin, Cmp, Bullseye - mid frame r current (2013) Gen II Pr Md MF88, PTE LF85 r LF88 turbs nly). Turbcharger size will be verified by measuring the husing bre at the leading edge f the impeller wheel and must maintain the cntur f the cmpressr husing. (Stepped r Clipped cmpressr wheel prhibited) Inducer dimensins will nt exceed inches and Exducer dimensins will nt exceed inches n MID FRAME turbs. Inducer dimensins will nt exceed inches and Exducer dimensins will nt exceed 5.56 inches n LARGE FRAME turbs. The maximum diameter f the husing bre at the leading edge f the wheel may nt exceed 2 mm mre than the maximum allwable turbcharger size permitted. Inserts r reducers t achieve inlet r utlet dimensins prhibited. Any type f air t air r water t air intercler permitted. Turbchargers w/nitrus-xide prhibited except n 2-rtr, 4 cylinder, and inline 6 cylinder engines. SUPERCHARGERS: Cg r gear driven superchargers are permitted, must meet all factry inlet, utlet, and internal husing dimensins. Inserts r reducers t achieve inlet r utlet dimensins prhibited. Any type intercler is permitted. Supercharger cannt be cmbined with nitrus xide. Rts superchargers are limited t a Centrifugal superchargers are permitted. Screw superchargers are nt permitted. NITROUS OXIDE: Small blck is permitted t run any type multi-stage nitrus systems. Big blcks are limited t a single stage nitrus system with single 10 lbs. r 15 lbs. bttle and single -8 line (-6** with cld nitrus)(**see belw fr accepted line) t fgger single wye t -6 line(**see belw fr accepted line) (-4 with cld nitrus) cnnected t fgger slenids r single -8 line (** see belw fr accepted line -6 line if using cld nitrus) t plate slenid(s) A single stage fgger (2 nitrus slenids and 2 fuel slenids) are permitted r if using a single plate then yur limited t (1 fuel slenid, 1 nitrus slenid), and 1 purge slenid, purge must exit engine cmpartment. Aftermarket clutch-less manual transmissin and clutch assisted manual transmissins are permitted n naturally aspirated and nitrus small blck cmbinatins nly. Electric shifters r air shifters are permitted. INDUCTION: Small Blck cmbinatins may run any type inductin. Big Blck cmbinatins are limited t a dedicated single pening cast intake with a single carb r a single 4150 r 4500 series thrttle bdy. (4 blade, dual blade r single blade thrttle bdy permitted). OILING SYSTEM: Dry sump iling systems are permitted n all cars EXHAUST: Mufflers r inserts are required n all cars except fr turb cars. Exhaust may exit underneath car r ut the frnt fenders but must nt affect timing r staging beams. FUEL: Gasline nly is permitted. Alchl/E85 permitted n rts blwn/v6/inline-6/4cyl applicatins. Alchl r E-85 r ther derivatives is prhibited n all ther cmbinatins. Meth injectin prhibited. Water injectin permitted n SB NOS cmbs nly. STREET EQUIPMENT: Functinal headlights, taillights and brake lights required. All headlights, brake lights, etc. must be n car and nt remved fr any reasn. All vehicles may be twed back frm their passes.
