3 Intrductin Perfrmance f the unit The raised "ventilated cld" refrigerated well is designed t keep fd at an average temperature f +5 C at cre in a rm temperature f 25 C fr 24 hurs. The temperature f the fd prvided shuld be between 0 C and 3 C. Perfrmance tests have been cnducted in labratry with Tylse Pack Tests. The UVC lamp ptin is a means f limiting develpment f bacteria. These units cmply with applicable EC nrms and shuld be installed and used fllwing the instructins in this manual t ensure gd perfrmance and t be cvered by the warranty. 4 Installatin Installatin: Insert the mdule int the purpse-cut slt. Munt the switch cabinet vertically, using its angle bracket. Befre cnnecting the switch cabinet (fuse hlder) t the pwer grid, it is imperative t cntrl its tensin t adapt it t that mentined n the manufacturer' plate f the unit. The mains supply shuld be prtected by a differential circuit breaker. The switch cabinet must be lcated in clsed premises. Seal the tp with a silicne jint. Installatin f a breath shield (ptin) 1. Dismantle the upper glass brackets with a Allen spanner Ø Stick the black nn-slip adhesive patches in the specified markings n the part f the bracket in cntact with the breath shield. 3. Install the glass, the nn-dmed end shuld be psitined 120 mm frm the edge f the beam. In the case f the "salad bar" ptin, centre the glass. 4. Tighten the upper brackets. 6 Refrigeratin cnnectin Installatin f the cndensatin generatr The cndensatin generatr shuld be psitined facing the ventilatin grid prvided which is the same frmat as the cndenser. It is imperative t psitin the cndenser as clse as pssible (1 cm) t the ventilatin grid. 1 cm Cnnect the refrigerating circuit, fllwing the refrigeratin diagram. Optin with cndensatin generatr supplied Tightening f cnnectins with prtective cap 1. Manually tighten bth ½ female and male cnnectins with prtective cap 2. Use tw flat 27/33 spanners t strike the ½ prtective caps 3. Cntinue t tighten t btain the tightness (2 cycles f tightening frce ) 4. Test tightness with sapy water r a leak detectr 5. Repeat the peratin with bth ¼ female and male cnnectins with prtective cap (identified with red tape) using 21/19 flat spanners. 7 Cnnect the pluggable cnnectrs Evapratin tray ptin The tray shuld be preferably psitined in frnt f the generatr t facilitate exit f cndensate vapurs and avid ht air intake. The evapratin tray's supply cable shuld be cnnected t the scket lcated in the switch cabinet f the unit. The deflecting sheet placed in the evapratin tray is used t guide the steam. It shuld be psitined at the centre f the evapratin tray (r shuld have the same play each side f the sheet) and shuld fllw the incline directin, as shwn n the diagrams belw. deflectr Munt the draining tube n the plug, nt frgetting the jint supplied. Place the tube at the ther end in the clip prvided n the evapratin tray. NB: The evapratin tray is nly designed t evacuate defrsted water. Installatin f the ventilated evapratin tray If the generatr is at a distance, the tray shuld be placed in frnt f a grid t facilitate utput f cndensate vapurs. 8 Cmmissining: Switch the well n tw hurs befre filling it. Use: Well Cmmissining / Use USER MANUAL Press the thermstat buttn. Once the thermstat is n, the generatr starts a minute afterwards (safety time) t supply the display. The thermstat is set in the factry after tests. When the temperature required is reached, the generatr stps autmatically. Press the thermstat buttn t stp regulatin f the unit. Lighting ptin Press the thermstat buttn t switch lighting n and ff. 9 Cleaning Always take care t switch ff the appliance with thermstat befre cleaning. This unit is nt impermeable t water. D nt use a high pressure water jet t clean it inside r ut. Every day: Risk f burning the eyes! If the UVC lamp ptin is munted n the unit, check that the lamp is ff. If nt, switch the thermstat f by pressing n the buttn Metal surfaces: Stainless steel shuld be cleaned with sapy warm water r a special prduct fr high quality metal surfaces. Never use abrasive spnges r scurers t avid scratching the surface. Glass: Clean using a high quality glass cleaning prduct and clean clth. 12 1. Warning USER MANUAL User instructins fr the XW60L thermstat Imprtant: discnnect electrical cnnectins befre any interventin. The appliance shuld nt be pened. In the event f a breakdwn, send the appliance t, with a detailed descriptin f the prblem bserved. 2. General descriptin The XW 60L is a regulatr with micrprcessr aimed at medium r lw temperature refrigeratin applicatins. It has 4 relay utputs t cntrl the cmpressr, defrsting, evapratr ventilatrs and lights. It als has tw NTC prbe inputs, ne t cntrl temperature, the secnd t cntrl temperature at the end f evapratr defrsting. Regulatin is btained by the temperature measured by an atmspheric prbe with psitive differential with respect t the set pint: when the temperature increases and reaches the set pint plus the differential, then the cmpressr starts. It stps when the temperature reaches the set pint again. 3. Keybard V T display and mdify the set pint. In the prgramming mde, used t select a setting r cnfirm an peratin. By pressing this key fr 3 secnds when the maximum r minimum temperature is displayed, it will be erased. T display the maximum temperature recrded. In prgramming mde, is used t brwse thrugh the list f settings r increase the displayed value. By pressing this key fr 3 secnds, the rapid refrigeratin cycle starts. T display the minimum temperature recrded. In prgramming mde, used t brwse thrugh the list f settings r reduce the displayed value. By keeping it pressed dwn fr 3 secnds, defrsting starts. Starts r switches ff lighting Switches the appliance n r ff. COMBINED KEYS T lck r unlck the keybard. T enter prgramming mde. T leave prgramming mde. a. Lck and unlck the keybard LOCK THE KEYBOARD Press the and keys at the same time fr mre than 3 secnds. The "POF" message is displayed and the keybard is lcked. 13 UNLOCK THE KEYBOARD Press the and keys at the same time fr mre than 3 secnds. The "POn" message is displayed and the keybard is unlcked. b. The "Hi" message is displayed fllwed by the maximum temperature recrded. By pressing this key again r waiting 5 secnds, the nrmal display returns. e. Rebt minimum and maximum temperatures T rebt the recrded temperature, when the maximum r minimum temperature is displayed, press n the SET key until the "rst" cde starts t flash. N.B.: After an installatin, rebt the recrded temperature. f. Display and mdify the set pint Press the SET key and release it immediately: the set pint value is displayed. The SET LED flashes. T change the value, press r within 10 secnds. T stre the new set pint value, press the SET key again r wait 10 secnds. g. Start manual defrsting Press the DEF key mre than 2 secnds and manual defrsting starts. h. Enter the Pr1 prgramming mde T enter "Pr1" (settings accessible t the user): Enter the prgramming mde by pressing simultaneusly n the SET and DOWN keys fr a few secnds ( and flash). The "rst" message will be displayed fr 3 secnds. a. The EE alarm The regulatr includes an internal memry checking system. The "EE" alarm flashes when an internal memry fault has been detected. In this case, the alarm utput is activated. b. Alarm reset "P1" prbe alarms (prbe defect), "P2": they stp autmatically 10 secnds after the prbe has resumed nrmal peratin. Check the cnnectins befre putting back the prbe. "HA" and"la" temperature alarms: they stp autmatically when the regulatr's temperature returns t nrmal values r when defrsting starts. 5. 19 Warranty The appliance's warranty applies as f the shipment date frm ur factry in Dmbasle Sur Meurthe (France) fr a perid f 12 mnths. It des nt cver breakage f the glass. T benefit frm the warranty, the buyer shuld rder by fax r , specifying the warranty applicatin with appliance reference fund n the identificatin plaque. On receptin f the appliance, the buyer shuld return and pay shipment fr the defective appliance, within fifteen wrking days. Any appliance nt returned shall be inviced. Any appliance bught frm anther supplier may nt benefit frm a credit as cvered by the warranty. Transprt and labur csts are t be paid by the buyer. The buyer is invited t make any reservatins t custmers fr appliances stred withut cmmissining n delivery, particularly fr refrigerated and electrical equipment. The warranty des nt extend t wear caused by defects r pr maintenance f equipment r damage caused by kncks r imprper use.
