Its mdular design with independent slide-in cntrller slts ensures fast replacement in case f malfunctin. Perfect ease f use and a straightfrward display shwing all instantaneus and setpint values guarantee the smth integratin f these cntrllers int the prductin prcesses. The alarm indicatrs nly light up in case f errr r malfunctin. This allws t check the perating state f the ht runner system at a glance. Due t the presetting f the system s basic parameters by the factry, time-cnsuming cnfiguratin is nt necessary the unit is immediately ready fr use. The mld memry enables yu t stre the settings fr all f the ht runner mlds and access these prgrams by a tuch f the buttn. A slid metal husing with pwerful cling fans allws cntinuus peratin at maximum lad even under extreme perating cnditins. The rear panel features separate cnnectrs fr the lad and thermcuples, the pwer switch, interface and alarm cnnectrs. The temperature can be increased r decreased externally by the alarm cable cnnecting the cntrller t the cntrl system f the machine. In case f malfunctin, the cntrller stps the machine immediately. 8

It is extremely easy t perate via a new functin buttn. The cnnected mlds are scanned and the result is directly displayed n the frnt panel. This functin ffers yu increased safety f peratin, as ptential faults such as sensr plarity reversal r mld wiring errrs are detected fully autmatically. 11 Setting Standards MULTI View + fr all MULTI cntrl units + fr mld administratin and prcess data transfer + USB r Ethernet cnnectin + with PC Sftware fr WINDOWS PC Interface This interface allws yu t transfer all f yur mld and prcess data between a MULTI cntrller and a PC r laptp, using either a USB interface r an Ethernet cnnectin. Yu just need t cnnect the interface bx t the standard data interface f the cntrl unit. The utput f the bx then prvides the required interface. Pwer is supplied directly via the interface in the case f USB peratin. In the Ethernet versin, pwer is prvided by the plug-in PSU supplied. Fllwing installatin f the MULTI-VIEW II sftware included in the delivery, yu can cnveniently stre yur mld data in a PC file and, if needed later, transfer it back t the cntrller again. Yu can use any WINDOWS directry f yur chice fr the prcess data. This ensures that the data is readily available if, fr example, yu wish t edit it later by PDA systems. In additin, extensive diagnstic and lg functins are available that greatly facilitate testing and starting up cmplex ht runner mlds. PC-based peratin with a tuch-screen panel ensures maximum peratr cnvenience, thanks als t a clearly arranged display and ptimal user guidance. If space is scarce, the cntrl panel can be separated frm the cntrller. All parameter settings can be stred and managed cnveniently in the system s memry, which prvides extensive strage and display ptins. All prductin prcess parameters (as well as ptential errrs) are recrded and dcumented mst clearly. The rugged membrane keybard with bright LEDs allws easy setting f all prductin parameters. The unit is equipped with an individual errr indicatr fr each cntrl zne. An ptinal sftware is available fr wiring testing, starting f new mlds, mld data management r trubleshting. This sftware can be installed n any PC r ntebk with Windws, giving the user access t all the same functins as n the tuch-screen equipped unit, hwever, by using a muse instead f a tuch-screen. Available cntrller husings can be equipped with just the number f slide-in mdules actually needed, plus a central cntrl unit if required. Unneeded slts simply remain empty and can be refitted at any time. The integrated 16-ampere (3.600 watt) pwer unit allws fast and easy mdule replacement, withut the need t pen the husing r discnnect any cables! The DIALOG central cntrl unit fits int any empty slt f the husing and allws central adjustment f any number f slide-in mdules. All functins can be accessed and cntrlled either directly by the cntrl mdule r the central cntrl unit. The frnt panel buttns guarantee easy peratin. Bth the instantaneus and setpint values are permanently displayed. In additin, the setpint windw allws t display the instantaneus utput pwer either in amperes r percent. Grund fault, temperature deviatin, vercurrent and sensr errr are mnitred and indicated separately fr each cntrl mdule. It is suitable fr lad currents up t 10 A. The cntrl unit is pwered thrugh a 230 VAC mains plug with prtective earth. The unit is perated via buttns n the frnt panel, where the instantaneus and setpint values are cnstantly displayed. The display fr the setpint can als be used t indicate the utput pwer in either amperes r percent. Manual peratin, standby and bst functins can be directly accessed via frnt panel buttns. The slts can be filled with any number f cntrller mdules. Unused slts have t be cvered with a cver plate and can be refitted later if necessary. Thus, the user gets a highly flexible system that can be adapted perfectly t individual requirements.
