2 Green Power is an international professional rectifier manfactrer with more than 20 years experience, the designed and manfactred transformer & rectifier systems for Chlor-Alkali indstry having the advantages of high reliability, high efficiency, high accacy, high stability, low ripple, intelligent digital control etc. The Principle of Membrane Electrolysis The raw material of chlor-alkali electrolysis is common salt (NaCl). An electrochemical reaction according to the formla cases Cl- ions to be oxidized to chlorine at the anode, while water is redced to hydrogen and OH- ions at the cathode. To bring this abot, specially prepared pre brine is fed into the anode compartment. A cationselective membrane separates the cathode compartment from the anode compartment. Only hydrated sodim ions can pass throgh the membrane. With the aid of the electric field, chloride ions are blocked ot very well. As a reslt, the OH- ions combine with Na+ ions in the cathode compart-ment to form pre castic soda. Green Power Provide the DC Power Spply Dring Electrolysis with the Membrane Process
