This is also the case for the environment. We take into accont ecology and sstainable environmental protection not only in the development and prodction of or chambers, bt in everything we do as a company. With this in mind, BINDER is committed to se material combinations that can be separated to enable recycling. This is why asbestos or mercry are not sed in any BINDER chamber today or will ever be in the ftre. We consciosly choose synthetic materials made of recycled resin in or manfactring process withot any compromise in qality. Less energy consmption The geothermal heating system at the Research & Development Center has a transmission heat reqirement of 40 % below that reqired by the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV). Daylight harvesting system: large windows allow optimm se of daylight spported by daylight-dependent atomatic blinds; green roof for heat inslation; energy savings by the se of state-of-the-art eqipment and systems and adaptive lighting systems. We are dedicated to redcing energy consmption which is why a combined heating and power station is in planning. Stringent selection of sppliers in accordance with the Eropean Ecodesign Directive Resable packaging with pstream sppliers is sed whenever possible. Materials sch as steel, plastics, cardboard and paper are consistently recycled. Renewable and recycled materials are given preference wherever possible. Less environmental impact The extensive oil-free steel processing performed with atomatic machines allows BINDER to dispense with cleaning procedres detrimental to the environment before srface coating. Only solvent-free powder coating systems are sed at BINDER.
