Virses, bacteria and dst particles are filtered ot of the airstream iediately before the air otlet, eliminating the risks associated with central system filtration, sch as cross contamination in the ventilation dcts. 4 Filtrasept Ceiling Unit Constrction Filtrasept Ceiling Units are constrcted from powder coated (white RAL 9010) or stainless steel. Units are also available with a fire-resistant coating, while stainless steel fittings secre the filter and diffser/perforated plate in place. The air is spplied throgh a circlar, side-monted spigot, with an optional air tight, sht-off damper (according to EN 1751), which is accessible from the room side. Filtrasept can also be spplied with a top-monted spigot, while Filtrasept for low ceilings (constrction height 275 ), featres a rectanglar spigot to minimise size. Filtrasept can be eqipped with a two-way, for-way or swirl diffser, fitted centrally, or a perforated plate, which is secred with 4 corner screws. Standard color for otlet elements is white (RAL 9010), with other colors available pon reqest. Eqipped with an integral test port, accessible from the room side for pressre, seal and aerosol tests, both the system and filter can be easily tested with a seal test instrment. Installation Filtrasept can be installed in all conventional ceiling systems, whilst cstom connections can be designed to sit the exact reqirements of cleanroom ceiling manfactrers. When designing the room layot, the consltant shold ensre that Filtrasept nits which are eqipped with diffsers, are located far enogh from walls, pillars and other air distribtion nits, in order to avoid disrption to the air flow pattern. Filtrasept Combinations Filtrasept nits with perforated plates can be installed adjacent to each other, allowing coverage of significantly larger areas. Pressre drop as fnction of nominal air flow If several Filtrasept nits are sed, of the same or different sizes bt with the same pressre drop performance crve and pstream pressre, no air flow adjstment is reqired. 6 Filtrasept Wall Unit Installation and Assembly The Filtrasept Wall Unit is designed to be fitted to both the air dct and the wall or partition; with a wall frame available as an optional accessory for even simpler installation. Constrction Designed with a flange for connection to the wall and air dct, the nit offers an all-in-one soltion for the installation of EPA/ HEPA filters. The air otlet is by way of a perforated plate (white, RAL 9010) or an otlet grill. All Filtrasept wall nits are eqipped with a test port for pressre drop or aerosol measrement, and when fitted with EPA/HEPA filters the nits can be specified with an integral test port for seal tests.
