In paticula, pay attention not to apply any foce on the stainless steel sheet if the actuato is equipped with the stainless steel sheet. Installation Envionment, Stoage Envionment 1. Installation Envionment An envionment that satisfies the following conditions is equied duing installation. In geneal, the actuato fo standad and clean-oom types should be used in the envionment whee an opeato can wok without equipping any potective gea. Thee should be no diect sunlight. Any adiant heat fom a lage heat souce such as heat teatment funace should not be diected at the machine main body. The ambient tempeatue should be 0 to 40 C. The elative humidity should be 85% o less. Thee should not be dew condensation. (Standad and clean-oom types) If ai puge is pefomed, the actuato will have wate esistance of the potective stuctue shown in the table below. Thee should not be coosive gas o flammable gas. Thee should be no flammable dust o ignitable liquid in the suounding. Potective Oil mist o cutting liquid should not be diected at the machine. Stuctue Chemical liquid should not be splashed on it. IP65 An impact o vibation should not be tansmitted to it. IP54 Thee should not be stong electomagnetic waves, ultaviolet ays o adiation. The actuato should not be installed whee it gets dipped in liquid. The woking space equied fo maintenance o inspection should be secued. 2. Stoage and Pesevation Envionment The stoage and pesevation envionment should comply with the same standads as those fo the installation envionment. In paticula, when the machine is to be stoed and peseved fo a long time, pay close attention to envionmental conditions so that no dew condensation foms. Unless specially specified, moistue absobency potection is not included in the package when the machine is deliveed. In the case that the machine is to be stoed and peseved in an envionment whee dew condensation is anticipated, take the condensation peventive measues fom outside of the entie package, o diectly afte opening the package. Fo stoage and pesevation tempeatue, the machine withstands tempeatues up to 60 C fo a shot time, but in the case of the stoage and pesevation peiod of 1 month o moe, contol the tempeatue to 50 C o less. Continued use of the actuato with this condition may esult in the beakage of the stainless steel sheet. Adjust the sheet tension accodingly in the egula inspection. The side and the bottom sufaces of the base of the slide type actuato ae the datum fo the slide dive. If accuacy fo its un is equied, use these sufaces as a datum of the installation. Secue the space whee maintenance wok can be pefomed. 3 Bolt to be used Fo the bolts to be used, a high-tensile bolt complying with ISO-10.9 o moe is ecommended. If using the tapped holes, use scews with the thead length dimension being less than the effective depth of the holes. In case the tapped hole is a though hole, be caeful so the scew tip does not exceed the suface of the tapped hole. Fo the actuato mounting, use a bolt with the dimension of its effective mating length to the tapped hole is as stated below. If tapped hole on steel thead length same as nominal diamete If tapped hole on aluminum thead length 2 times longe than nominal diamete When using a foot base fo installation to a platfom o equivalent, in ode to potect the foot base, apply washes dedicated fo high-tensile bolt if using bolts of M8 o lage. No washe is needed fo M6 o smalle bolts. Also, do not use a nomal washe. 4 Tightening Toque Please follow the specification values stated in the Instuction Manual (CD/DVD) fo the tightening toque. Failue to do so may cause an opeation poblem. 5 Load Moment and Ovehung length Please follow the specification values stated in the Instuction Manual (CD/DVD) fo the load moment and the ovehung length.
