1 PILOT OPERTED PRESSURE CONTROLS FLNGED TPE VR5 Series Veljan Flanged type, Valves Series VR5V ( Relief ), VR5U (Unloader) and VR5S (Sequence ) are pilot controls. These range of valves are suitable for mountg directly on a SE Pump outlet flange, ensurg maximum pump protection agast peak pressure and elimatg costly pipg. The pilot stage of VR5 valves are designed to reduce pressure overshoot and mimise crackg flow, thus reducg power and production losses durg high pressure operation. VR5 valves consist of a high flow poppet type seat valve section controlled by the low flow, adjustable pilot section mounted on top. Pressure settg is achieved by means of a knurled knob. For tamper proof settg, acorn nut with lead seal is available as option. Optional Vent Valve VVV01 sandwiched between pilot section and ma body can be used for ventg the VR5 valves. Exceptionally fast response is obtaed due to precise ratio between ma piston area and its mass. High accuracy and quiet, flutter free control are the important characteristics of VR5 valves. Pressure Relief valve VR5V Internal External VR5V Pressure relief valves are used to limit the pressure of a hydraulic system. The VR5V may also be used to generate a pressure drop a hydraulic circuit. Normally port is connected to pump and port to tank.
