OPERTION: When the float of the indicator encounters the Reed switch at the pre-established point, the contact activated by the magnet housed in the float opens or closes, thus obtaining the possibility of sending a luminous or acoustic signal or activating or disconnecting any electrical equipment connected to it. The indicator must be fitted in the vertical position, on /4 GS thread hole; seal is guaranteed by an O-ring in the crown of the cap in aluminium with hexagon head. The float must be at least 5 mm from ferrous surfaces (tank walls, etc.). OPERTION: IEG-TQ10MM: when the float of the indicator encounters the Reed switch incorporated in the tube at the pre-established distances, the contact activated by the magnet housed in the float opens or closes, thus obtaining the possibility of sending a luminous or acoustic signal or disconnecting any electrical equipment connected to it. The levels IEG-TQ10MV are used for having a double alarm signal at a pre-established distance. The former is normally used to signal when the liquid is nearly finished; the latter can be used as a machine stop, etc. The contacts that are activated by a single float can be at least 25 mm apart. lso, the signals (in absence of liquid ) can be activated (they close) consecutively or deactivated (they open). The same principle can be applied for the maximum level control (max. and extra max.). The indicator must be fitted in the vertical position, and the float must be at least 5mm from ferrous surfaces (walls, tanks, etc.). Fitting on the side of the tank allows installation of the Level when there is no room for it on the cover and, above all, when the place where the control unit is fitted is so narrow as to make fitting/removal of a level indicator fixed on the cover impossible. IMPORTNT: To invert the contact from N.C. to N.O. just remove the bottom stop and turn the float upside down. Two versions entirely in ISI 16 stainless steel can be obtained. It is possible to have exchange contacts or other control points in addition to the two provided for by the GMMF version; in this case the connection head must be in aluminium and contain an adequate number of terminals for the needs. OPERTION: When it is necessary to vary the minimum or maximum position, just loosen the connection clamping grub screw and slide the rod on the connection enough for the required variation in opening/ closing of the Reed switch incorporated in the tube. In this way it is possible to vary the activation position of a luminous or acoustic signal or disconnect any electrical equipment connected to it. The indicator must be fitted in the vertical position. The float must be at least 5mm from ferrous surfaces (tank walls, etc.). IMPORTNT: To invert the contact from N.C. to N.O. just remove the bottom stop and turn the float upside down. POSSIBILITIES: The useful measurements controllable by the variable length level indicator go from a minimum of 40mm from the connection support surface to a maximum defined by the user. 15 IEG-N1F + T ELECTROMGNETIC LEVEL INDICTORS WITH ELECTRIC CONTCT ND THERMOSTT IEG-TC1 + T FIXING FLNGE SEL Ø55 BRSS TUBE Made to ensure the minimum or maximum level in tanks and hydraulic power packs and activation of the thermostat when, for operating reasons, the temperature must not exceed values harmful to correct operation. LEVEL INDICTOR OPERTION: When the float of the indicator encounters the Reed switch at the pre-established point, the contact activated by the magnet housed in the float opens or closes, thus obtaining the possibility of sending a luminous or acoustic signal or activating or disconnecting any electrical equipment connected to it. THERMOSTT OPERTION: When the temperature of the liquid in the tank reaches the thermostat setting value, the thermostat closes or opens for switching on a lamp or interrupting operation of the machine connected to it, or activating any cooling equipment, thus preventing the risk of overheating and permanent damage. The indicator must be fitted in the vertical position. The float must be at least 5mm from ferrous surfaces (tank walls, etc.). OPERTION: When the float of the indicator encounters the Reed switch at the pre-established point, the contact activated by the magnet housed in the float opens or closes, thus obtaining the possibility of sending a luminous or acoustic signal or activating or disconnecting any electrical equipment connected to it. FITTING THE INDICTOR: The level indicator is supplied in an assembly Kit with tube 0 mm long (IEG-U1F/U2F) and 0/4 mm long (IEG-UMMF). The required length can thus be obtained with the aid of an ordinary pipe cutter IEG-UMMF Ø55 Ø21 FIXING FLNGE SEL Insert the wires and tube in the threaded union located under the flange, then suitable tighten for perfect assembly. Connect the connector to the flange and the respective wires to the base, and the level indicator is ready to use. FITTING ON THE TNK: The indicator must be fitted in the vertical position, and the float must be at least 5mm from ferrous surfaces (walls, tanks, etc.). OPERTION: The floating stay within a toroidal magnet, whose field operates, without physical contact, small reed contacts placed inside the pipe flow (see Fig.1). The drive of these contacts allows the integration or gradual shutdown of the resistance, also placed inside the pipe flow, allowing the continuous reading of liquid level. Resistive signal thus generated can be directly used by devices that accept inputs well structured, or through a converter Ohm - 4/20m can drive most of the electronic devices on the market (PLC).
