2 Event Scheduling Guide Gen II Scheduling events is menu-driven and very easy t d. Step-by-step instructins in this Guide will help yu the first time yu schedule an event. Open the cin dr. Press the red MENU buttn lcated inside the cin dr, n the right side, t enter int the Service Menu. The Service Menu will appear n yur screen. Yu can clse the cin dr if yu wish. Page 1 f 9

3 Check the Time Check t be sure that the time n yur Fun Stp Phts Gen II pht bth is crrect. System infrmatin appears in the upper right crner f yur screen. If the time displayed is incrrect: Chse Adjustments in the Service Menu. Chse Change Date and Time. Set the year, mnth, day, hur, and minute t the crrect values. Schedule the Event Yu can schedule an unlimited number f events, years in advance. Events can be scheduled t use nly the inside camera, utside camera, r bth cameras. If the event will use bth cameras, yu must enter the event infrmatin bth inside the pht bth and at the rear screen. If yu wish, yu can enter different settings fr the inside and utside cameras. Frm the Service Menu, select Events and Add Event. The Name Event screen will appear, and the backgrund will change t green. Chse Okay. The green backgrund is a reminder that yu are entering settings that will be applied nly during the specified event times. After the event ends, the pht bth settings will revert t their previus values. Page 2 f 9

4 When yu chse Okay, a keybard will appear n yur screen. Enter a name fr the event that yu wish t schedule. Tuch the Okay buttn n yur screen. The name f the event being entered r edited will appear at the tp f each screen. Each event will have the fllwing ptins assciated with it: Stre Images Event Times Adjustments Brders Custm Artwrk Defaults Dne Select Event Times t schedule the event. Use yur finger n the tuch screen t drag the bar t the crrect dates and times t start and end the event. NOTE: Be sure that the Stre Images ptin has been check marked t save the event phts. Install a USB flash drive behind the interir cin dr n which t save the event phts. Page 3 f 9

5 Under the Adjustments ptin, yu can enter settings specific t this event: Game Adjustments: Machine lcale (t set language and currency type) address fr errr and ut-f-paper ntificatins during the event Upsell Screen t allw r nt allw custmers t buy extra prints Scial Media Uplad permitted, r nt permitted Specify 4 x 6 large prints r tw 2 x 6 pht strips Mney Adjustments: Mney input type: Cash, tken, r debit card system Set the Price per Play t $0.00 fr Free Play. Upsell price per vend fr extra prints. Value per Pulse fr debit card system Page 4 f 9

6 Audi Adjustments: Vlume f the instructins and attract music Whether t play attract music Type f Attract Music (Classical fr a wedding, Party music, etc.) Camera Adjustments: Brightness, Cntrast, Saturatin, Gain and Expsure can be adjusted t cmpensate fr the event venue lighting. A live picture appears n-screen, s yu can see the effect f yur camera adjustments as yu make them. Page 5 f 9

7 Under the Brders ptin, yu can specify the brders t be made available t custmers during this event (such as Birthday brders r Anniversary brders). Brder ptins entered with the green screen backgrund will apply nly during the event times. Activate n mre than ten (10) categries f brders at a time. After the cnclusin f the event, brder ptins will revert t yur pht bth s verall settings. (Optins entered with the black screen backgrund cntrl the pht bth during nrmal peratin.) Under the Custm Artwrk ptin, yu can lad the Advertisements, Pht Strip Lg, and custm Brders t be used during this event. Page 6 f 9

8 Fr n-screen Advertisements, first LOAD yur custm Advertisement.PNG file. Then, ENABLE the n-screen Advertisement. Fr custm pht strip lgs, first LOAD yur.png file. Then, SELECT the lg artwrk that yu want printed nt the phts during the event. If yu want n artwrk, press Select, withut having laded any lg fr the event. (On-screen instructins will remind yu f this ptin.) T lad a CUSTOM brder.png file created fr this event, chse Brders under the Custm Artwrk categry. Page 7 f 9

9 The 100 PRE-LOADED brders that came with yur pht bth are enabled via the Brders ptin, which is abve Custm Artwrk. NOTE: Chse n mre than 10 categries f brders at a time. If yu enable mre than 10 brder categries, the brder selectin buttns will becme t small fr yur custmers t read, because there are s many brders. When yu have finished scheduling yur event and setting the ptins, chse Dne. If yu want t save yur event settings t be applied t all future events, first chse Dne. Wait a few mments, and then chse Defaults and Save t Current Settings. The next event that yu schedule will use the saved settings. Page 8 f 9

10 Then Exit the Service Menu. Yu can change r delete any event within 24 hurs after the event end time. Fr example, yu can add extra hurs while the event is in prgress, r yu can delete an event that was cancelled. Install a USB Flash Drive t Stre Event Phts Yu must plug in a USB flash drive t stre event phts, and chse the Stre Images ptin. Event phts are NOT stred n the pht bth hard drive, s be sure t plug is a USB flash drive. Open the cin dr inside the pht bth, and find the drp cable lcated behind the cin dr. Attach a USB flash drive t the end f the drp cable. There is n drp cable behind the rear cin dr. The USB flash drive that yu install inside the pht bth wrks fr bth cameras. Event Settings are Applied Autmatically During Event Times At the time that an event is scheduled t start, the pht bth will autmatically switch t yur event settings. If the event is set t stre phts, but there is n USB flash drive plugged int the USB drp cable lcated behind the cin dr, the pht bth will enter the red screen errr mde and display a message instructing yu t plug in a flash drive. The pht bth will apply the event settings (green screen) during the scheduled event time. After each event has ended, the pht bth will autmatically revert t yur nrmal (black screen) pht bth settings.
