Fixes and Imprvements Dual Channel CHIRP / Dual Transducer cmpatibility - this sftware enables Lwrance HDS Carbn units t use bth snar prts fr cnventinal/chirp snar t allw: A TtalScan transducer t be used in cnjunctin with a standard 7-pin "blue cnnectr" transducer Using a separate 7-pin transducer alngside TtalScan is ideal fr custmers wh munt the TtalScan transducer higher n the transm t keep it ut f the water when the bat is n plane. Simultaneus display f bth channels f a dual channel CHIRP transducer. Simultaneus display f tw single channel CHIRP transducers. 2 The Lwrance versin 4.5 sftware upgrade fr HDS Gen3 displays includes game-changing imprvements t Surface Clarity, Live Netwrk Snar, Navinics SnarChart Live, Navinics Pltter Sync, Navinics Dck-t-dck Autruting (nt available in US), and NMEA 2000 entertainment enhancements. Surface Clarity Imprvements Surface Clarity functinality has been significantly enhanced t remve surface clutter withut affecting fish targets near the surface. With this update, Surface Clarity reveals fish hidden in the surface clutter rather than filtering all returns near the surface, which at times, wuld reduce the usefulness f the tp prtin f the water clumn. That makes a huge difference fr anglers fishing shallw water, r the tp half f the water clumn, allwing them t remve clutter caused by suspended sediment, wave actin and ther disturbances, withut affecting fish targets. In additin, the new update gives anglers mre fine-tuned cntrl ver the level f surface clutter filtratin by increasing the discernibility between the levels f Surface Clarity. Live Netwrk Snar Live Netwrk Snar allws HDS Gen3 users t view and cntrl tw independent, live snar surces frm a single display. The capability t use ne display t cntrl snar and mnitr fish activity at tw lcatins like the frnt and the back f the bat gives anglers the advantage f full cntrl f a cmplete view f the underwater activity beneath their bat. Previusly, the nly way t mnitr snar returns frm tw separate lcatins was n separate displays, r by alternating netwrked snar surces n a single display. SnarChart Live SnarChart Live gives anglers the capability t create 1 (.5m) HD bathymetric maps in real time n HDS Gen3 displays. Maps are created by cnverting snar returns int detailed cntur maps as yu navigate. Ideal fr anglers fishing a new lcatin, SnarChart Live helps raises awareness f shallw areas and reveals uncharted bttm features and areas where fish like t hide, like hles and drp ffs. SnarChart Live requires a Navinics mapping card with an active chart updates subscriptin. Dck-t-Dck Autruting (Nt available in the US) Navinics Dck-t-dck Autruting (nt available n units built fr sale in the U.S. r n any unit used in U.S. territrial waters) creates intelligent, detailed rutes fr navigating thrugh cramped, narrw passageways and channels. The sphisticated Navinics algrithm factrs in data frm Nautical Chart and SnarChart, like chart data, navigatin aids and water depth t display the suggested rute. Dck-t-dck Autruting requires a Navinics card with an active chart updates subscriptin. Navinics Pltter Sync With Navinics Pltter Sync, anglers can easily dwnlad the latest Navinics chart data and transfer waypints and rutes between the Navinics app and a Navinics card via the wireless cnnectivity f HDS Gen3 displays. Additinally, waypints and rutes can be imprted frm the Navinics card t the HDS Gen3 waypints/rutes/trails database. Pltter Sync requires a subscriptin t the Navinics app and a Navinics mapping card with an active daily updates subscriptin. NMEA 2000 Entertainment/Audi Enhancements New sftware enhancements t HDS Gen3 displays enable them t wrk directly with all third-party audi equipment that cnfrms t the NMEA 2000 Marine Entertainment/Audi Prtcl, including select equipment frm audi partners, JL Audi, Infinity and Plk with mre t cme. 4 Elite HDI,Elite CHIRP and Mark-4 Sftware Upgrade (6.0) Lwrance is pleased t annunce the release f new sftware fr Elite HDI, Elite CHIRP and Mark-4 units. This upgrade is designed t imprve mapping/chart redraw speeds when using the map at tighter zm ranges, while driving the bat at higher speeds. Benefits f imprved chart redraw speeds include: Imprves the user experience and increase verall redraw speed, changes have been made in the way charts are laded and stred in memry. Zm range (less than 1 mi. zm scale) perfrmance at higher vessel speeds has been greatly imprved. HOOK Sftware Upgrade 2.0 Lwrance is pleased t annunce the release f new sftware fr the HOOK and Trphy series units equipped with GPS.
