3 1. Window stay n , -902 and -903 The window stay restricts the opening angle of the window in turn position. The window stay is required in public buildings. A11.16 The window stay should be used for safety purposes or where the opening arc may be obstructed. The position of the stay will dictate the opening angle of the window. The window stay is detachable by turning rivet R with a 4 mm hexagon key. 4 2. Additional arm n and An additional arm may be used on vents over 1400 mm wide. The additional arm provides greater stability, especially for wide and heavy windows in tilt position. The additional arm is non-handed and can only be used for CHRONO and CHRONO INVISION. 5 3. Narrow and small windows 3.1. Sets for small windows Set n With connection piece This set can be used for turn-tilt windows, tilt-turn windows, side hung windows as well as tilt windows with vertically mounted handle. The set is only available for CHRONO standard and CHRONO PLUS. Set n contains a connection piece n for standard handle. Size range: vent height Fh = mm. Procedure: Determine rod lengths and cut off rods n Drill hole ø6 mm in the rod. With lockcase These sets n and can be used for turn-tilt windows, tilt-turn windows, side hung windows as well as tilt windows with vertically mounted handle. The sets below are only available for CHRONO standard and CHRONO PLUS. 6 3.2. Rod for narrow windows Cut-off rod n in zinc alloy which is mounted between the corner transmission and the link arm. This rod is also used for CHRONO PLUS and SAFE. Size range: CHRONO standard and PLUS: vent width mm. CHRONO SAFE: vent width mm. CHRONO INVISION standard and PLUS: vent width mm. CHRONO INVISION SAFE: vent width mm. CHRONO INVISI standard and PLUS: vent width mm. CHRONO INVISI SAFE: vent width mm. Must be ordered separately. Installation: 1. Corner transmission Disconnect (and break) the snap-off pin and pull out the toothed part out all the way. Cut the toothed part at the indication groove. Position this piece again in accordance with the position of the broken snap-off pin. 2. Rod n Cut the rod in accordance with the vent width at the appropriate indication groove. 3. Link arm Remove (by using a tool) the connection piece of the link arm. The rod is to be connected to the link arm hole. 4. Connection Connect the 3 pieces to each other. A

8 5. Night vent device n General The 12 mm night vent position device allows you to ventilate without significant heat and energy loss. Economical and discrete. The night vent position device is especially developed for turn-tilt windows and sets the window in a ventilation position of 12 mm by means of a special wedge on the frame. The frame part is mounted at a fixed distance from the top and the vent part is mounted below the corner transmission. This night vent position device can be turned off and ensures a perfect operation of your window. Very simple operation: if the device is disengaged: standard tilt opening of ±170 mm = summer position if the device is operational: tilt opening is restricted to 12 mm = winter position The night vent position device n is suitable for frame groove of 14/18 mm and frame groove of 10/14 mm. 11 6. Night vent device n General The 4 mm night vent position device allows you to ventilate without significant heat and energy loss. Economical and discreet. The night vent position device, which is placed on the top side, is especially developed for turn-tilt windows and sets a ventilation position of 4 mm by means of a special wedge on the frame. The frame part is mounted at a fixed distance from the hinge side and the vent part is mounted close to the corner transmission.
