You have very rightly taken initiative to pool collective wisdom of all state universities in order to address these issues and concerns. We are making efforts that quality culture components like accountability, innovativeness, positivity, commitment and confidence are not just seen but also acknowledged by the society. Through our humble initiation of programs like 'Aid with Dignity' we are trying to bring 'Daridra narayan' a concept of Mahatma Gandhi into the focus of our NSS activities. Our young girls and boys are collecting usable, but not in use, articles from the affluent segments of the society and are selling them through 'Bapu Bazar' to the weakest section at a nominal price thus helping them without diminishing their dignity. Through campaigns like 'Ban Polythene' we are trying to connect our youth to mother earth and mother nature. One of the missions of our university is to bridge gap between educationally rich and socially poor segments of the society. Honesty, transparency, dedication and above all total commitment to the glory of our mother land are some of our tools to re-establish and enhance the faith of our youths in the future of the nation and in their own future.
