MoLood MON'IHLY RP0RT ON REFINED P'rLFK P1)WCTS IN CANADA sefrber Output of refined petroleum products in Canada during September, 1947, totalled 6,578,492 barrels compared with 6,453,764 barrels In September, The total for the month under review included 2,968,907 barrels of motor gasoline, 49,234 barrels of aviation gasoline, 1,493,661 barrels of heavy fuel oil, 1,127,532 barrels of light fuel oil, 123,330 barrels of kerosene and Btove oil, 95,357 barrels of tractor distillate, barrels of naphtha specialties, and 656,125 barrels of other refinery products such as lubricating oils, a8phalt, coke, etc. Refineries in Canada used 6,901,270 barrels of crude oil in September, 1947, compared with 6,619,547 barrels in September, ReceIpts of crude oil during the current month totalled 6,843,913 barrels, including 6,290,679 barrels of imported oil and 573,234 barrels from Canadian sources of supply. Inventories of orude at refineries at the end of the month amounted to 4,281,083 barrels compared with 4,808,410 barrels on the corresponding date of last year. The oonsption of liquid petroleum fuels in Canada, as computed from shipments, imports, exports and changes In marketing inventories, was as follows In September, 1947, all figures being in barrels of 35 imperial gallons: naphtha specialties, 76,164; aviation gasoline, 84,886; motor gasoline, 3,884,939; tractor distillate, 161,294; kerosene and stove oil, 456,682; light fuel oil, 680,709; and heavy fuel oil, 1,735,358. According to official statistics as compiled from customs' ln'vuioes, the Imports into Canada included the following items in September, 1947, all figures being in barrels of 35 Imperial gallons: crude oil for refining, 5,497,143; kerosene, 196,379; engine distillate, 22,625; fuel oil ex-warehoused for ships' stores, 39,223; other fuel oils, 1,217,935; oasinghead gasoline, 170,808; other gasoline, 440,824; lubricating oils 36,885. Exports during the month included: fuel oils, 73,336; gasoline and naphtha, 35,170; and lubricating oils, 2,135.
