3 REFNED PETROLEUM P)DUCTS FEBRU*.RY 1950 Output of refined petroleum products in Canada during February, 1950 totalled 6,701,314 barrels compared with 5,848,860 barrels in February, The total for the month under review included 2,960,441 barrels of motor gasoline, 39,237 barrels of aviation gasoline, 1,560,255 barrels of heavy fuel oil (Woe. 4, 5 and 6), 439,000 barrels of diesel fuel, 796,329 barrels of light fuel oil (Nos. 2 and 3), 423,818 barrels of stove oil (No. 1 fuel oil), 30,310 barrels of tractor fuel, 61,755 barrels of naphtha specialties, and 352,524 barrels of other refinery products such as lubricating oils, asphalt, coke, liquefied petroleum gases, etc. Refineries in Canada used 7,451,870 barrels of crude oil during February, 1950 compared with 6,143,671 barrels in February, Receipts of crude cii during the current month totalled 6,680,963 barrels including 4,667,610 barrels of imported oil and 2,013,353 barrels from Canadian sources of supply. nventories of crude at the end of the month amounted to 3,694,022 barrels compared with 4,645,302 barrels on the corresponding date of last year. The consumption of liquid petroleum fuels in Canada, as computed from refinery shipments and from imports, exports and changes in marketing inventories of refiners, wholesalers and major consumers, was as follows in February, 1950, all figures being in barrels of 35 mperial gallons: Naphtha specialties, 62,461; aviation gasoline, 104,945; motor gasoline, 2,270,560; tractor fuel, 5,637; kerosene, 63,852; stove oil (No. 1 fuel oil), 876,164; diesel fuel, 633,237; light fuel oil (Nos. 2 and 3), 1,547,745; and heavy fuel oil (Woe. 4, 5 and 6), 1,761,000.
