3 REFNED PETR OLEUM PROXJCTS SPT1BER Output of refined petroleum products in Canada during September, 1950 totalled 9,639,282 barrels compared with 8,240,644 barrels in September, The total for the month under review included 4,403,151 barrels of motor gasoline, 35,805 barrels of aviation gasolne, 1,911,086 barrels of heavy fuel oil (Ns. 4, 5 and 6), 681,159 barrels of diesel fuel, 1,168,812 barrels of light fuel oil (Nos. 2 and 3), 391,366 barrels of stove oil (No. 1 fuel oil), 70,331 barrels of tractor fuel, 87,503 barrels of naphtha specialties, and 845,320 barrels of other refinery products such as lubricating oils, asphalt, coke, liquefied petrolsum gases, etc. Refineries in Canada used 9,911,672 barrels of crude oil during September, 1950, compared with 8,635,831 barrels in September, Receipts of crude oil during the current month totalled 9,490,366 barrels including 7,074,471 bar:els of imported oil and 2,415,895 barrels from Canadian sources of supply. nventories of crude at the end of the month amounted to 4,334,878 barrels compared with 6,519,032 barrels on the corresponding date of last year. The consumption of liquid petroleum fuels in Canada, as computed from refinery shipments and from imports, exports and changes in marketing inventories of refiners, wholesalers and njor consumers, was as follows in September, 1950, all figures being in barrels of 35 mperial gallons: Naphtha specalties, 89,097; aviation gasoline, 155,962; motor gasoline, 5,032,967; tractor fuel, 102,652; kerosene, 75,485; stove oil (No. 1 fuel oil), 478,924; diesel fuel, 593,895;; light fuel oil (Nos. 2 and 3), 793,032; and heavy fuel oil (Nos. 4, 5 and 6), 2,667,652.
