He joined the Copperstate Mustang Club a couple years ago because he found many good fellows and more racing nuts like himself. He has been interested in Mustangs since 1965 and in 2002 his wife bought his maroon red GT convertible for him. Jeff has been very involved in the club. Notably, he has been Wiley Coyote at most of the organizations events for the past year. He s a very enthusiastic member! Congratulations and thank you for your dedication and support! It is with great pleasure that I accept the challenge of producing the Copperstate Mustang Club Monthly Newsletter, The Mustang Mirror. New Club T-shirts will be available free to the member and small cost for a second one. More to come First and foremost, on behalf of the Club, I would like to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to Dave Jacobelli for all the years of dedication in producing the monthly newsletter for the club. My hope is to follow those footsteps in making sure the newsletter is informative and reflects the fun the club shares in the many events that take place. I encourage each of you to share your talents and interest, submitting any articles or pictures you might have gathered each month. This is a great way to communicate and a means of sharing your knowledge and expertise with others. Congratulations to the new officers. These are dedicated individuals who each share a great love and passion of the Mustang. I know there are many individuals who have made this club the organization it is. 5 CLUB HAPPENINGS CHRISTMAS PARTY 2010 The numbers for our Christmas Party were down this year due to illnesses, deaths and just plain financial problems. However, the 74 people who attended were well fed and the children were again delighted by Santa. There were 10 children who sat on his lap. The new Board of Directors and Officers were announced. Becky Field takes over the reins as President. Nick DiSanti is Vice President, JoAnn Martorano is Treasurer and Alyce Ancell is Secretary. The Board consists of : Don Cook, Jeff Dorfman, Tom Martin, Phyllis Petrone, Steve Naranjo and Dan Martorano. We look forward to another productive year with the Copperstate Mustang Club and hope that those of you who weren t able to attend our celebration will be able to attend next year. 6 MEETING MINUTES General Meeting Executive Board Meeting 12/ /12/2010 Meeting called to order by President JoAnn Martorano. Officers present were Jeff Minx, Tom Martin, Cindie Runyan, JoAnn Martorano, Nick DiSanti and Becky Field. The Member of the Year Award was presented to Jeff Dorfman for all the time and enthusiasm he has put into the club and being our mascot, Wiley Coyote. Fabian Pugliese is the winner of the Max Award this year. Fabian was not present so he will get his award in January. JoAnn presented an Appreciation Award to Greg Okilita at Berge for their sponsorship of the Copperstate Mustang Club. JoAnn also presented a gift certificate for a spa for Penny for all her hard work with our newsletter and other printing and designs she does for the club. JoAnn announced that Becky Field will be our President for next year. The meeting was turned over to Becky to announce who the other officers will be. Nick DiSanti will be Vice President, Alyce Ancell will be Secretary, JoAnn Martorano will be Treasurer, and Sarah Talahongva will be Sergeant at Arms. There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned. Meeting was called to order by President JoAnn Martorano. Motion was made seconded and carried to hold the Pancake Breakfast at Sahuaro Ranch Park located near 59th Ave and Olive. JoAnn will contact Denver 7 Caroline Wells regarding reserving a space at the park for that day. Becky Field named Jeff Dorfman as head of the Charity Committee. Discussion was held regarding a freeway sign sponsorship. It was noted that Sharon Maloley will take over the Newsletter. A hearty thank you went out to Dave Jacobelli for all the years he did the Newsletter. Other discussions were held regarding the direction we want to take next year. These items will be discussed further at the January meeting. There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.

8 THE FAST LANE Everyone wants to give their Mustang that personal touch, but not everyone wants to change a color, or mess with that fine factory paint. The decal has grown up, and vinyl wraps are growing in acceptance and popularity. Ford knows that, so the company has opened offering customizable vinyl designs for the Mustang. Ford Racing unveiled the 2012 Cobra Jet Mustang at the Performance Racing Industry show in Orlando, Fla. The goal for the 2012 Cobra Jet is to build a turn-key racecar ready to take its own place in NHRA history. Like its predecessors in 2008 and 2010 it s a factory-built racecar intended for NHRA Stock and Super Stock racing that can also be campaigned in other racing sanctioning bodies such as NMRA, NMCA, PSCA and IHRA. For racers who want to build their own cars, there is a Mustang Competition Roller based on the Cobra Jet that is serialized and complete, minus the power train.

9 THE FAST LANE PRIZE PATROL: WIN A 2011 MUSTANG! Here at TMN we try to keep you up on the latest Mustang prize raffles and sweepstakes. Well the Sunbury Fireman s Fair just announced their annual Mustang raffle for This years raffle car is a 2011 Mustang V6 in Grabber Blue. And like before only 350 Tickets will be sold. So that makes for some pretty good odds. Entries will be limited to the first 350 donations of $100. Tickets available on a first come, first served basis. You can buy tickets at their website listed below. Like most raffle giveaways, the winner of the 2011 Mustang shall be solely responsible for all taxes, title, registration, insurance and any other applicable fees. Winner shall be selected by a random drawing of all entries. A maximum of 350 entries are possible. A public drawing will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011, 7:00 p.m., at the Annual Sunbury Firemen s Fair, Cameron Park, Sunbury, PA Drawing will be held contingent upon enough donations being received to cover the cost of the vehicle. But in past years they have always sold out well before the drawing. The winner does not have to be present to win, and will be notified via Telephone or Certified Mail. Winner of the vehicle shall take delivery directly from the participating dealer upon completion of all required documentation. All proceeds go directly to the Sunbury Fire Department & Fire Police.
