2 President s Notes Happy Valentine s Day (ladies), We made it through the first of the new year and hopefully this month will bring some more mild weather, even though Prairie Dog Pete says more winter on the way. As for the month ahead, not much going on but we do have some events listed for April and June that are official Mustang activities. As of now, we have the annual birthday party show set for April 14 th. There is another event that day so we ll discuss it at our February meeting. We have been requested to be involved in a fun day at the sight of the coming Aquarium. April will also include the annual Blue Ribbon rally and some other show/events as well. Now for June, the car show has been set and approved by Wayland University for June 9 th (2 nd weekend of that month). Mark that on your calendars, it will come sooner than you think. I ve secured Back 40 Grill again as our food vendor. They will have some breakfast burritos followed by a variety of items for lunch, as they did last year. If you know of any vendors that would like to offer drinks, ice crème, cookies, etc. for a desert please let one of the officers know. We are checking with sponsors and will hopefully know how that s shaping up over the next few weeks. 3 Meeting Minutes for January President John Robinson called the meeting to order. 2. No minutes for December we had our Christmas Party. 3. Budget was given and approved----$ Plans for 2018 Christmas Party---December 15th nd Saturday. 5. The toy drive went great this year thanks to everyone involved in this great project. 6. If you have any new business sponsors let John know. 7. Dallas Mustang is a major sponsor----they are a $1000 sponsor. 8. Plans for the Birthday Party will be for April 14th on a Saturday. 9. Our big car show is scheduled for June 19th--there will be a lot of planning for this show. 10. Jeff & Chuck are working on the budget for the car show in June. 11. We will be buying rain insurance again this year for the car show in June. 12. The car show committee will be meeting before our next scheduled business meeting. 13. Dennis gave the report for MCA---he will have the information about our car show in the MCA newsletter. 14. Please get your club dues paid. 15.Coffee & Cars Saturday January 6th at Cooks Garage. 16.
