Note: Load sharing is intended for use on primary front suspensions with 3.5 or 4 inch wide springs. The base casting must be slightly modified for use on the 3.5 inch springs, each kit includes 2 air bags, upper and lower mounting K4 brackets, cab mounted pressure regulator/gauge panel and air fittings and pipe. PER EACH Nut for above PER EACH 4.00 SPIDER WHEEL NUTS 2128 Standard Spider wheel rear wheel nut - 3/4 thread in ID 1.25 inch OD THE HISTORY ON TYPES OF USA STUD WHEELS There are two types of wheels - "Stud" pilot which use the nuts to centre the wheels, not common in Australia but on some imported vintage trucks. Today most are "Hub" pilot which uses the hub to centre the wheels. 150 pattern on the same old style Bud wheels. Some have a large stud and a thin nut and some have small stud and a large nut. Early aluminium wheels had 5 slots. The story goes P.I.E. (Pacific Intermountain Express) had Alcoa make these wheels in the fifties as weight saving when tubeless was unheard of. The first Alcoa tubeless wheels started 1956 with a new design in 1963 and changed from 5 holes to 10. Tyres lasted better, less flats, easier repairs. HISTORY OF SPIDER TUBELESS STEEL RIMS With the change from inch tube tyres they became 22.5 and inch became 24.5 in tubeless and the 24 inch tube tyre do not have a tubeless replacement. Tubeless rims first started to go on the Australian market in early 1970's. There are 3 standard sizes,7.5 inches wide x 22.5 inches diameter inches wide x 22.5 inches diameter. This is the best size for the 11R.22-5 tyre. The third is the offset type rim 9 inches wide x 22.5inches diameter. This rim is suitable for chroming for use on the steer axle. I purchased the first new truck with tubeless rims in 1976 and went from 4 to 6 punctures per week to zero road side changes per year. SECTION 6A - GENERAL - AXLE 2

The kit is based on 1970's R Model Mack but also suitable for system upgrade on B Mack to Spring Brake and Dual Line System and Improved Trailer Control. Note: It is your responsibility to confirm the system is suitable for use on public roads in your State or Territory with your vehicle engineer before fitting and/or registration. The system includes 20 major parts as shown on the piping schematic dual brake layout enclosed. Each part has a reference number and description on drawing and on the part to help on site fitting.
