THROTTLE CABLE DRIVELINE ENGINES As the current Australian Design Rules require a motor in any vehicle to run on only non leaded fuel or L.P.G. Gas, the engine we are currently using is the WINDSOR 302 FORD MUSTANG UNIT. A very good and reliable motor, also used in the AUSTRALIAN FORD FALCON sedan. A 5 speed gearbox is available to couple to this engine. Engine mountings GEARBOX MOUNTING TAIL-SHAFT A purpose built tail-shaft designed to mate the Jaguar differential to either a Ford Top Loader or a Borg Warner gearbox. $ WHEELS A wide range of different design road wheels are available. We recommend a CAV unit with a large aluminium sediment bowl ( not glass ). 4 SUSPENSION BOTTOM WISH BONE AND HALF-SHAFT MODIFICATIONS Bottom wishbones are shortened to suite the narrower track of our vehicle. Brand new half-shafts constructed to suite the new track dimensions fitted with four new universal joints completes the rear suspension. $1, FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION All front and rear suspension components required for the kit, including differential, front and rear disk brakes & calipers. Visually checked for soundness, but requiring refurbishment. 5 STEERING STEERING SYSTEM A heavy duty rack and pinion, with a collapsible steering column coupled together with a splined shaft equipped with two universals joints. Comes complete with indicators, ignition key and steering lock. $1, STEERING WHEEL A wide range of MOMO or Sportsline steering wheels are available on request. COOLING SYSTEM RADIATOR Specially designed and manufactured radiator with a high efficiency core. The complete cooling system has been designed to keep the engine at its correct operating temperature under all operating conditions. $ RADIATOR HEADER TANK The header tank has been designed to minimize cap blow off caused by water surge. The stand and mounting are an integral part of the design. Powder coated black for better heat dissipation $ RADIATOR COOLING FANS A pair of high efficiency 12 volt cooling fans for the radiator. Needed to keep the engine operating temperature within safe limits when caught up in traffic or during prolonged idling.
