6 OJK Pump Saver Kits "Pump Saver" Installation Kit for Oil Jacketed Kettles Fits all Stepp Oil Jacketed Kettles with a pumping system. The Pump Saver allows the product pump to be controlled "On Demand" to reduce pump wear. The product pump will operate only when the wand valve is open. This will create less wear on the pump, reduce pressure spikes on the pumping system, and will significantly reduce the frequency of future pump repair and replacements. Includes a one year warranty against pump failure caused by wear when installed with a new product pump. 7 Heating System Repair Kit 12V Diesel or Propane Heating System Repair Kit These Kits are designed to eliminate down-time by organizing into one handy package the parts, troubleshooting procedures, and test tools, needed to complete virtually any repair of the Diesel or Propane burner systems and the electronic thermostats. The Kit includes a comprehensive troubleshooting and repair guide, test instruments, and all the common (and some not-so-common) parts to complete most repairs. The contents of the kit were carefully chosen to allow easy field repairs with the addition of only basic hand tools such as a screwdriver and wrench set. 60 Heat Transfer Oil WARNING: The use of the proper heat transfer oil cannot be over-emphasized for safe operation and to prevent equipment damage. When selecting a heat transfer oil, 2 criteria need to be considered: Flash point- If the oil selected has too low of a flash point, a serious fire and explosion hazard will exist. Viscosity - Units equipped with oil circulation pumps require a viscosity between ISO 68 and ISO 100. If the viscosity is too high, the oil circulation pump may not be able to circulate the heat transfer oil during a cold start-up causing overheating of the heat exchanger and damage to the equipment. Oil viscosity has little effect on units without oil circulation pumps. Selecting The Correct Oil - Equipment with oil circulation pumps are shipped with either Chevron American Industrial Oil #68, or Exxon Teresstic 100. Use these oils or select an oil with a viscosity between ISO 68 and ISO 100 and with a minimum flash point of 490 F C.O.C. (Cleveland Open Cup method). Equipment without oil circulation pumps are shipped with Lube-Tech Ace Heat Transfer 460 Oil. Use this or select a heat transfer oil with a minimum flash point of 550 F C.O.C.
