Three movable ceiligs, with a total weight of 168,000 lbs., shape both the appearace ad acoustics of the room. Four reverberatio chambers, with 128 cocrete doors (weighig up to 15,000 lbs. each) provide additioal acoustic cotrol. Further adjustmet is provided by acoustic baers ad curtais. A SceeCotrol 500 was selected to cotrol the acoustic elemets, based o its realistic display of the cocert hall. Each of the eight self propelled seatig wagos is 12' x 60' ad weighs 15 tos. A two stage lift with 11 feet of travel ad a 20,000 lb. capacity was provided to raise the star projector from uder the floor to its workig positio. Each of the 43 paels has idepedet elevatio, pitch ad roll cotrol, formig a stage caopy with limitless profiles. This is supplemeted with 24 variable acoustic baers, 15 variable acoustic traveler curtais, plus door actuators ad lightig hoists. A J.R. Clacy automatio cotroller with 3D graphics allows the operator to program ad record setups of the variable acoustics elemets.
