Frank Hurlehey emphasized the fllwing issues specific t the RFP specificatins: Base year nly: chassis will be shipped directly t the successful bidder fr the 139 wheelbase dual rear wheels and 159 wheelbase dual rear wheels. Fuel tank fr the 159 wheelbase chassis: 215 litres, rear munted. Evacuatin chair munting assembly: nte that in additin t inclusin in new vehicles, this cmpnent is als listed as an ptin t retrfit TEMS existing fleet. Optins fr all three types f vehicles include medical equipment with specificatins t meet existing infrastructure, which will be cmmunicated each year. A 2010 ambulance frm ur current fleet will be available fr viewing; including the kit tree and munting bracket fr the Mtrla MW810 mbile wrkstatin. It shuld be nted that the required specificatins in the RFP exceed the 2010 vehicle in many respects; bidders shuld nt assume that features and specificatins f the 2010 vehicle are fully representative f RFP specs. Annex A and Annex C f the mst current MOHLTC Ontari Prvincial Land Ambulance and Emergency Respnse Vehicle Standard must be submitted fr the demnstratin vehicle, in accrdance with Appendix D f the RFP. It shuld be nted that VIN number n the Annex C certificate must match the dem vehicle. An addendum will be issued t amend Annex E t Annex A in Appendix D. An addendum will be issued amending the date t nte an expectatin f delivery t TEMS within a specific timeframe fllwing the date the chassis are delivered t the successful bidder. Phts: bidder request t take phts f the ambulance during inspectin was granted. Questins and Cncerns Ambulance Inspectin Bracket Mbicad mbile wrkstatin: The lse bracket supplied by Irina Pantfaru fr the Mbicad mbile wrkstatin differs frm the bracket munted in the 2010 ambulance. The versin munted in the ambulance is the mst current. Bidders must either manufacture r purchase this bracket. As such, a request was made fr either (r bth) the specs fr the bracket t allw bidders t research having the unit manufactured r the name f TEMS current supplier t allw bidders t purchase. It shuld be nted that this bracket may need t be altered in the event f a change in cab and/r dash design in future years. TEMS will review this issue and respnd via addendum. Cnclusin: Elena Carus recmmended that bidders draft and frward their questins and cncerns in writing t the pint f cntact nted n the RFP and the City will respnd via addendum.
