7 5. To install the oil temperature sensor and connection cable Remove the oil drain plug (). Screw in oil temperature sensor E and sealing ring F. Tightening torque value of oil temperature sensor 25 Nm. Check the oil level and top up if necessary. F E B 2 4 Route connection cable. Route and 2 through grommet () into the engine compartment. Route 4 to the radio connection plug, 3, 5-3 to the centre console B Screw earth adapter G onto earth bolt (). Screw 2 onto pin (2). To install the oil temperature sensor and connection cable 4 I Connect 4 to the GR/RT power supply cable pin 4 (new generation: pin 3) using insulation-piercing connector I B 4 3 J H Connect 3 to the RT/GN power supply cable pin 2 of the cigarette lighter using 5-way insulation-piercing connector J. ttach fuse 4 at a suitable point using cable ties H B Retrofit kit No Installation Instructions No Issue date:.23 EN/8

9 6. To install the installation frame and connect the additional instruments D 2 Lay installation frame D on centre console () as a drilling template. Drill a 5 mm hole at each of positions (2). ttach installation frame D using speed nuts K and selftapping screws L. K L 5 26 B 2 Screw on additional instruments B and C using the fixing rings (2) provided.
