Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, property identified as 2019 Sludge Truck. 2. The bid must be filed with the City Clerk prior to the announced bid opening date and time. Bid opening will be October 24 th, 2018 at 11:00 AM local time. 3. The City of Rolla reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all bids. 4. It will be the City s intent to accept low competent bid if it meets specifications and conditions. 5. Bidders are advised that the City of Rolla shall consider prior substandard goods or prior substandard service delivery or excessive distance to the city as a criterion for bid rejection. 6. All bids shall meet or exceed specifications. 7. Alternate bids may be considered providing all specification differences are clearly indicated and contain justification statements. The City of Rolla shall be the sole judge as to the suitability of the service or equipment offered for the intended purpose from the alternate bid. 8. Any exceptions to these terms or conditions or deviations from written specifications shall be shown in writing and attached to the Bidder s Proposal. 9. Bidders are cautioned to verify their proposal before submission as requests for amendments, withdrawals or proposals, if received by the city after the time specified for opening, will not be considered. 10. In the event of discrepancies between Bidder s Per Unit price quotation and Extended Total quotation, the Per Unit quotation shall prevail. 11. Bidders must be factory authorized dealers for the equipment, service, and parts of the items they are bidding. 12. The City of Rolla reserves the right to use State of Missouri bids when applicable. 1

2 BID DOCUMENTS 2019 Sludge Truck The City of Rolla Public Works Department is seeking bids on current year and production model Sludge Truck, meeting the attached specifications, including all standard equipment and conditions as described in current literature. Attach description with the Bid Documents 10. Trade-In The City of Rolla has a 2003 Terragator. Provide a trade in allowance in your bid. The city reserves the right to reject trade-in allowances. 4

5 BID TABULATION SHEET SLUDGE TRUCK Bid Price: The Bid Price shall be for one (1) Sludge Truck, in accordance with the attached specifications. Any exceptions must be noted in the space provided. The Bid Price shall include delivery to the City of Rolla by a manufacturer's representative who will be available to give instructions in the operation and maintenance of the unit and accessories. One parts book, one service and repair manual, and one operator manual shall be included with the delivery. The City of Rolla reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
