1 2013 Model or current production year 34,000 G.V.W.R. Cab and Chassis INTENT: These specifications describe a Dump Truck. GENERAL TERMS: All equipment furnished under this contract shall be new, unused, and the same as the manufacturer s current production model. Accessories not specifically mentioned herein, but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use, shall also be included. Unit shall conform to the best practice know to the body trade in design, quality of material and workmanship. Assemblies and component parts shall be standard and interchangeable throughout the entire quantity of the units as specified in this invitation to bid. The equipment furnished shall conform to ANSI Safety Standard Z GUARANTEE: The bidder shall offer a (1) one-year warranty. PARTS MANUAL: The bidder shall furnish a complete set of Operator, Service, and Parts Manuals with each body sold. The bidder shall complete every space in the Bidders Proposal column: check to indicate if the item bid is exactly as specified. If not, provide a complete description of the deviation from these specifications in the unity to be supplied on a separate sheet. 1 of 8

Muffler, maximum silence rated at 85 db or latest U.S. Government specifications. 14.) 50 gallon fuel tank, step type mounted on left or right side. 15.) Hi-Band Radio One (1) Kenwood TK-7360HV high band radio with antenna installed. The City of Livingston buys most of it s radio equipment from Bridger Communication of Bozeman, MT. M. Dump Body 1.) Minimum 6 cubic yards 2.) Hydraulic cylinder telescope, vertically mounted in dog house. 3.) Hydraulic cylinder, power up, gravity down, side board pockets, air tail gate. 4.) Overhead cab headache rack. 5.) Color Omaha orange 6.) LED lights N. Sander Control & Hydraulics 1.) The control for the sander will be in the cab. Must be able to operate a Henderson sander Model # WSH x9 x48. O. Hydraulic System 1.) PTO pump must be of the proper size to operated dump box, snow plow and sander. 2.) All hoses and supplies to be mounted on truck prior to delivery. 3.) Hydraulic oil filter spin on type. 6 of 8

7 P. System Controls 1.) Electronic controls in cab. 2.) Variable speeds on spinner and conveyor. Q. Snowplow Hitch 1.) The snowplow coupling device must be of the quick attach & release design. 2.) The hitch must fit a Henke snow plow. The Henke Hitch model is a UQH low profile. 3.) All hydraulic lines to be quick couplers. R. Controls S. Extra Lights All controls to operate lift & lower, left & right will be inside the cab on a single joy stick. The truck will need the extra lighting package for headlights and turn signals. T. 8 Warranty One year on all parts and labor except glass, lubrication, and filters on cab and chassis. Two year on all parts and labor on engine and transmission. The bidder of the unit shall provide the name of the company, in the area, that will do warranty work. Company name Dump Body Company name Prior to any award being made under this proposal, bidders shall be required to manifest satisfactory evidence to the City that there will be available, an adequate supply of such replacement parts as may be required for the repair and maintenance of any units which may be purchased as a result of their bid. The inability of any bidder to produce such satisfactory evidence when called for shall cause unfavorable consideration of this bid. Consideration will be given in comparing proposals, in awarding awards, and in awarding a contract, not only to the amount of the proposal, but also to the kind and quality of equipment offered, its suitability for the use in purposes intended, as well as the lowest ultimate cost to the City and in the best interest of the City.
