1 Invitation to Tender District of Taylor MOTOR GRADER Sealed tenders clearly marked Motor Grader will be received by the District of Taylor up to 2:00 pm, local time Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Council Chambers th A Street, Taylor, B.C. The tender is for the supply of a new currently advertised standard production motor grader meeting the attached specifications below. The submission is to contain detailed specifications on the unit along with warranty particulars including arrangements for repairs under warranty. Prices quoted are to be F.O.B. Taylor, B.C. and are to include all applicable taxes. 2 Minimum Specifications Motor Grader Machine shall be new currently advertised standard production motor grader. Base operating weight of unit without attachments, optional equipment or ballast shall not be less than 15,000 kgs including fuel and operator. Productivity measures o Blade pull of not less than 9,800 kgs with no added ballast or attachments. Blade pull is calculated by using this formula. Blade pull = Rear Base Weight x 0.9 (Coefficient of Friction) o Blade down force at the cutting edge not less than 6,600 kgs with no added ballast or attachments.
