1 December 2, 2013 To Whom It May Concern: The Rock Island County Forest Preserve Commission is requesting bids for the following equipment for use at Indian Bluff Golf Course, Milan, IL: Seventy (70) NEW GOLF CARTS One (1) NEW ADA SINGLE RIDER GOLF CART Note that bids will be considered on equipment complying substantially with specifications, provided each deviation is stated and each substitution are described in detail. Standard catalog sheets or technical data will not be accepted in lieu of this requirement. The Rock Island County Forest Preserve District will be the sole determiner whether such substitutions are equivalent to the equipment specified. The price shall include all costs complete, including freight, delivery and dealer preparation charges, delivered to the location(s) noted on the proposal forms. Note: Rock Island County Forest Preserve District is not subject to Excise Tax or Illinois State Sales Tax. Please submit descriptive literature showing complete specifications for the item being bid. Specifications are detailed on the respective proposal form. The bids will be awarded individually, and it is not necessary to bid all of the unit(s).
