1 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION PORTABLE GENERATOR RESPONSE DUE: Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 4:00 pm

2 Request for Quotation SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES: The ( District ) will be accepting quotes from authorized Multiquip (MQ) dealers/vendors to furnish and deliver one (1) MQ Power portable generator (Model# DCA400SSI4F) meeting the specifications provided herein. All equipment supplied under these specifications shall be new, the manufacturer s latest model, in current production and shall incorporate any and all modifications and/or product updates supplied and/or recommended by the equipment manufacturer. The District intends to award to the lowest cost bidder whose response conforms to the Request for Quotation ( RFQ ) and meets the District s requirements. Dealer/Vendors awarded bid will be responsible for the Department of Motor Vehicles Registration. Dealer/Vendors will handle all paperwork referencing the awarded Equipment. All bids are to be sealed and returned to the District by Thursday, April 18, Bids must be received by the Purchasing Agent no later than 4:00 P.M. on the above referenced due date. INSPECTION: The District will inspect equipment after its arrival at the delivery point. Vendor is solely responsible for ensuring that the equipment at the District s ship-to location of 1391 Engineer Street, Vista, CA is free of defects and manufactured in strict conformance with the specifications. PRICING AND DELIVERY: All prices are F.O.B. destination. All freight and/or delivery charges are to be included. All pricing shall be in U.S. dollars and include any and all payment incentives available to the District. Only the items on the Fee Response Sheet will be pay items. EVALUATION CRITERIA AND RESPONSE REQUESTED: Your proposal will be reviewed and evaluated based on your company s overall qualifications. Proposals should be concise and to the point to facilitate ease of evaluation. Your company will be judged on the following criteria and not solely on the lowest fee. At a minimum, the proposal should include: a) Evidence that the bidder is a certified or authorized MQ dealer or provider. b) Evidence that the bidder has been engaged in the sale, lease or rental of portable generators for at least two (2) years. c) All permits, licenses or professional credentials necessary to supply product and perform services requested in this RFQ. 3 d) Total overall costs: Fee Response Sheet (Attachment 1) with lump sum not-to-exceed price for providing the labor, materials and warranty described in this RFQ. Price must be firm for sixty (60) days. SELECTION PROCESS: The District will award the work to the contractor having the combination of price, qualifications, experience, and scheduling most advantageous to the District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in the proposals. Submit your sealed written proposal no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019, to, 1391 Engineer Street, Vista, California ; (Attn: Christina Moyer, Purchasing Agent). Bids will be opened at the District at this time. MISCELLANEOUS: The diesel engine generator shall meet or exceed the latest CARB emissions tier requirement for the engine horsepower.
