2 I. INTRODUCTION The Township of Lucan Biddulph is requesting a quote for a new 16ft Galvanized Steel Equipment Trailer to be used by the Parks & Recreation Department during the course of their day to day operations, including transporting riding mower and utility tractors. The quote must be for a Trailer that contains all of the features specified below in the information portion of the RFQ with no exceptions. If the features are not available from the manufacturer the dealer may supply the parts but must specify this in the RFQ. The trailer must include the specified features but is not limited to them and extra features are acceptable. The trailer must be of the most current model year that is available at the time this quotation is received. Last Year s model will be considered if it can be proven to have all the same specifications as the most current model and if a cost savings is included. 3 Specifications The following are specifications that must be met by the manufacturer or if applicable by the dealer Trailer must be/have: - 16 feet in length, minimum 80 wide - Galvanized Steel - (2) 7000LB axles - All wheel electric brakes w/ breakaway kit - Front HD bulk head - 15 or 16 Galvanized steel wheels - Suspension upgrade - HD welded on D-rings around the trailer - Stand up adjustable ramps w/ spring assist - Adjustable coupler - Rear adjustable stabilizer jacks lbs tongue jack w/ 2 5/16 coupler - Walk on fenders with welded on fender support on both sides - LED lights all around - 2 x8 hardwood deck If any of the above features are not included in the price quoted the quote may be rejected.
