3 INTRODUCTION AND CHARACTERISTICS Innovation in cold-hot water and heating systems EGB Group presents TFI, the novel conduction system for cold-hot and heating water. The TFI multilayer pipes are composed of 2 layers of PERT (Polyethylene of high resistance to temperature) and a central aluminium layer. TFI ensures a good instalation thanks to its INTELLIGENT TERMOFUSION system and the flexibility of the pipes entails savings in time and fittings thanks to the presentation in rolls. This technological advance will supose for the professional installer a total safety in his instalations. 5 PROCESS OF TERMOFUSION Once the end of the pipe is capable for the fusion, it is necessary to take the following precautions before Insertion depth (mm) Welding temperature (ºC) T. Calibrate and square the pipe Insert the pipe and the fitting into the die of the welding machine previously warmed at working temperature. Take out the pipe and the fitting from the die, join them without rotating until reaching the marked line on the pipe and keep firmly during the fusion process. Respect the cooling time before finishing the installation. 5
