3 Understanding Parflex s Parflex hoses are designed to handle extremes. They are used in some of the harshest applications around, such as over-the-sheave or aerial lift because they are specifically designed to handle extreme abrasion, temperatures, flexing, impulse and other factors that cause many hoses to fail. Hydraulic & Pneumatic Selection Parflex offers several lines of hydraulic and pneumatic hoses; eneral Hydraulic, Specialty and Hybrid hoses. Specialty hoses were designed to solve specific application problems. Hybrid s belong specifically to Parflex, with no exact competitor equivalents. These hoses were developed to cross typical S boundaries and meet specific challenges our customers were bringing to us. The visual index and hose pages indicate which hoses are Hybrid designs.
