2 BAM Test Report page 2 of 5 pages / Description of valves and documentation 1.1 Description of valves Figure 1: TV/DR-2922/2014 The valves (see Figure 1) consist of a valve body, a sealing system for internal and external tightness (five metallic diaphragms with a spring loaded non-metallic seat) and an operating mechanism with handwheel. They are optionally equipped with a pressure relief device (bursting disc or combined bursting disc with fusible plug), see 1.2 Documentation.
