Introduction The Foxground and Bypass will provide a four-lane highway (two lanes in each direction) with median separation for 12.5 kilometres of the Princes Highway between Toolijooa Road and Croziers Road. The upgrade will include a bypass of the existing winding highway at Foxground and a bypass of with access ramps at the north and south of the town. RMS has contracted Fulton Hogan to design and construct the Foxground and bypass. The early works construction started in September 2014 with project completion expected in mid- 2018, weather permitting. In accordance with condition R4.1 of the Environment Protection Licence (EPL) No the following report details all required monitoring undertaken over the reporting period. 2. Non-compliances There were no non-compliances with the EPL conditions in January. 3. Rainfall There are three RMS automatic weather stations on the project. Environmental Complaints One Environmental Complaint was received in January. Noise Attended noise monitoring was performed at 14:05 on the day the complaint was received. Ongoing monitoring has been maintained and the complainant has been met with by FH. The business owner wants NO Saturday works, but Leqs measured are typically and well within permitted range of acoustic impacts. Ongoing monitoring & consultation with EPA and complainant 8.
