2 West Crestmont
3 West Crestmont Will be built in phases finally reaching about 524 residential units. Rough grading for phases 9 & 10 already underway. First show home to be complete October 2017 with lot sales beginning in September Phase 9 will include 93 new lots with phase 10 having 173 new lots, a total of 166 new lots. The developer is obligated as a condition of the development permit to construct a secondary access to Crestmont before the community reaches 600 residential units. Crestmont currently has about 460 residential units. The final route of the secondary access is not yet firm. Alberta Transportation is reviewing plans for the new intersection at Old Banff Coach Road. The developer has indicted that the secondary access will be open to residents in October A green space has been allocated which the developer has previously indicated is large enough for a future school.

5 Crestmont South Known as phase 11, a tentative plan was sent for review in December Number of lots has not been confirmed, but the plans indicate these will be large estate residences. The developer has indicated they plan to begin construction on phase 11 in the spring of 2018 with lot sales beginning Fall of 2018.

7 Bowfort Road Interchange
8 Bowfort Road Interchange The cold weather has slowed progress, but major activities are expected to resume before the end of March. Weather permitting. The East traffic circle completion timing is partly contingent on adjacent property owners. It was agreed that only one of the four access points would be closed at any one time, work is expected to take at least a couple of months. Target is to have Eastbound lanes plus partial interchange open by end of May (in conjunction with Trinity completing utilities and new roads SW of interchange). With this, the temporary COP access would close as well The new Westbound lanes and complete interchange are targeted to have open first week of July. There will be some lane reductions on both Hwy 1 and through the Bowfort area once construction gets going. It has been stressed to the CCA that all timelines for completion of this project are best case scenarios. Weather being the primary concern.
9 Canada Olympic Park (COP)
10 Canada Olympic Park (COP) Land re-designation application is in process for the park to allow for potential commercial development along the west side of the park bordering the boundary of the Stoney Trail right of way, and the south side behind the ski jumps. Winsport is not- for-profit and is looking for new revenue streams to support and improve its facilities. In speaking with Winsport they are considering building a commercial development on the south side behind the ski jumps, but no firm plans are in place to proceed at this time.

17 Stoney Trail Southwest section complete by 2021, timeline of west section unknown. The West and final section of the ring road goes from HWY 1 to 69 th Street SW. No timeline will be decided until spring 2017 at the earliest. The upgrade to the Crestmont interchange at HWY 1 is part of the ring road project. Also included is a proposed road to COP south of HWY 1 and under Stoney trail, essentially an extension of Crestmont BLVD all the way to COP. 19 Greenwich Project appears to have stalled, the CCA reached out to Melcor for an update but did no receive a reply.
20 Shape Tree clearing is ongoing, needed to be done early to avoid disturbing nesting birds. 65 acres of dedicated park will be preserved. Temporary interchange to fast track development will be paid for by Shape. Final interchange to completed as part of the West Ring Road Project. Will require two years of construction, plus a couple of more for building development. Start of major works could happen in either Spring 2017 or Shape is waiting on a funding decision for the temporary roads.
21 Shape Crestmont BLVD will be rerouted twice. Once towards a temporary intersection at HWY 1. This temporary intersection will be similar to the one at Bowfort road, including lower speeds and traffic lights. The second will be the permanent route to the south around Shape wrapping around to the North to the interchange. The CCA did reach out to Shape for more information regarding timing of road closures and routes, but have not received a reply so far. New information will be shared with the community via the CCA website as it becomes available.
